Why can't we hold a winning team? :| He was 50% owned by a fund apparently, and with supposed preference clauses with Chelsea, so who knows what actually went down in the decision making process. Not to mention that Benfica is 450M€ in debt, having to pay some 20-30M€ a year in interest. With Portugal being a small and poor country, thus having relatively small TV and marketing revenue, we're forever destined to be a 2nd/3rd tier club. :'( But hey, on the bright side, at least we're not Sporting. | ||

Roma signed Fenerbahce's 20 years old midfielder Salih Ucan for two years loan which costs 4.750.000 million euros, Roma have option to buy him in end of two years for 11 million euros. He basically cost 15 million euros. Ucan is going to be big like Turan. | ||

I had a friend who was a Benfica fan i worked with when i was a manager in KFC. We always talked football and played in KFC team we made. I also invited him round for the final xD So i guess i know more about Benfica than i do Porto and Sporting. But Chelsea have played Porto more and taken their best asset in Jose Mourinho so i guess they could draw more of me to them. But then again Sporting gave us Ronaldo so......oh gosh  Looks like im on the fence | ||
