http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/10/premier-league-tv-rights-sky-bt Even on a conservative estimate, the total amount raised once international rights are taken into account is likely to top £8.5bn over three years from 2016-17. The BBC has already agreed to pay £204m to retain the highlights. That would mean that even the bottom club in the Premier League would receive around £99m while the champions would get £156m. Teams that finish in relegation zone going to earn $150m, RIP other leagues.

Lol nice graph :o + Show Spoiler + ![]() @mafe This incredible sum of money means the club that finishes bottom of the Premier League in the 2016-17 season will pocket £99m. The champions will earn more than £150m in prize money and that is before additional fees are paid to clubs who stage more TV matches than others.

All I care about is that some teams are allowed to spend unlimited amounts of money without regulation (my favorite team is one of them). And if the governing body doesn't set some kind of regulation, they will spend more and more... And nothing good will come after that.

Honestly as long as Premier league teams pay big money it's fine, I don't think it will change much apart from the fact that European teams are just going to be asking more money for their stars than before. What I'm worried about is that they (premier league teams) continue to give youth players from the rest of Europe insane salaries which nobody can compete with. There should be a ban on any player movement between European counties before they reach adulthood.

Nice :D The price of crude oil feel by over half and I still pay around the same I did when it was over $100 a barrel. Things don't ever get cheaper when they know they will fill stadiums every week even if they raise prices. I said a few pages ago that Burnley is right now a richer club than Ajax. The whole Premier League is about to create teams that could win the Dutch league by a nice margin, to win the PL you have to beat mid-tier Champions League level sides every week. That's crazy.

It effective the UK though for once. Petrol/Diesel prices been about £1.30 a litre for Diesel and £1.20 something for Petrol. With the price of Oil going down it has gone to like £1.15 diesel and £1.05 for petrol a litre ![]()

Not sure if that is live or what but it seems a big change in the days football is being played is going to happen next season. Is there actually any concrete info on this, because this is what the Bundesliga people are talking about, splitting the games more than they are now (fans already resisted the incremental splits so far). For reference, here's the La Liga schedule: 13.02.2015, 20:45 Uhr 14.02.2015, 16:00 Uhr 14.02.2015, 18:00 Uhr 14.02.2015, 20:00 Uhr 14.02.2015, 22:00 Uhr 15.02.2015, 12:00 Uhr 15.02.2015, 17:00 Uhr 15.02.2015, 19:00 Uhr 15.02.2015, 21:00 Uhr 16.02.2015, 20:45 Uhr They should probably have more money already.
