Going down to 10 men doesn't really seem to have affected Munchen too much. They still look pretty comfortable.

Scored three penaltys this season. Can't remember him missing one before. But that was one of the worst penaltys i have ever seen...

More Drama Munchen score but the linesman says the ball went out of play. The replay doesn't agree with his analysis.

Munchen respond by just scoring from the corner anyway. Robben puts it away.

Schalke have been so poor. at least they have to attack now.

are chelsea fans happy about this? I dont know how cuadrado will do in EPL, he seems to be to weak physically, and cant take hard tackles..i feel a La Liga move would have been better, either sevilla, valencia or Atletico de Madrid

Penalty claim for Munchen the Flying Dutchman collapses into the box once more. No penalty says the ref. I'd say he's got that right.

edit: In the interest of fairness Schalke have a weak penalty claim turned down now. I really don't like it when the attacking player just trys to buy a penalty because it's easyier than taking on the defender. bad for the game.

United have a second. I was watching the Munchen game so I can't inform any better than that. I'm sure the Cambridge lads are enjoying their time on the grass at Old Trafford and it's good that the 30 coaches stuck in traffic somewhere on the motorway finally got there so their fans can enjoy the ocasion but they will struggle to come back from that. Saying that Chelsea Vs Brentford is still vivid in my memory.

Yeah i think so too Sated. Stupid though imo, need a manager like Steve Mclaren or really go for a punt and give Eddie Howe a go from Bournemouth. Someone who knows the Championship, because most likely that is where QPR are going to end up unless a miracle happens.

Oh well, couldn't wish it on a better team if i could pick myself :D

I doubt McClaren or Howe would come, though. While QPR doesn't have a woeful squad, it has some gaping holes, like the CBs being old or Caulker. Also, you have to wonder if Krancar will start working at the hospital, now that Redknapp will undergo surgery. It's also past the transfer window (Harry mugged off QPR by staying so late), so no new additions to put their stamp on the club. Finally, they're flying high in the championship and might get up to the PL on their own, so why would they take over a leaking ship? High profile jobs can make and break you.

Yeah indeed still have to attract those managers but you also add in that QPR are financially sound, more money than Bournemouth in terms of wages and Derby have money i think but i believe QPR have more. So financially it benefits them plus they have a chance safely to get the club going in their style. They get relegated, no problem they are used to the championship and can get them back up. Thats what i would do but again its QPHAHAH so they will get Sherwood, get relegated then sack him after 6 months when they are mid table because Sherwood has no idea wtf is going on. xD

I guess we will have to see how he turns out. Certainly a much better strike partner/replacement for Costa than we had previously. The English game isn't about brute strength anymore, its 'who can run the longest/fastest', which is a shame because for the amount of money they are making it should hurt more.
