Now, I don't say this a lot... but thank you Wenger

This is just what we needed ahead of the city match next week.

And arsenal needs CL way more than manutd does. Could they survive two seasons with no cl?

I just noticed Lacazette from Ligue 1 has more league goals than Messi. He should totally get ballon d'or just for doing that.

They are getting a lot more money with their new stadium, they should be rivalling Chelsea/Manu/ManC but they never do. I think Aresene is directly responsible for that, the guy is old, and fit for replacement. imo.

I'd wager most clubs dump their coach after a such a long time with no results. Wenger is stability and with the stadium debt Arsenal have they need CL every season to pay it off. He isn't winning much but he continues to qualify for CL. Considering the wage budget this isn't spectacular by any means, but when you look at how man utd did after SAF you can't fault arsenal for sticking with Arsene. Also Arsenal fans are amazingly understanding, something I feel many fans can learn from. Also the name, especially the name :p

Arsenal are not even close to city and united yet, especially united spending has been out of this world. Chelsea is actually very close to Arsenal at the moment as they comply with FFP, but their strategy of selling youth players for big money has allowed them to compete with City and united nonetheless. Arsenal are getting there sure, but they aren't there yet.

Pretty sure i'm not alone here. Bundesliga saw Wolfgang Wolf coach VfL Wolfsburg for quite a while. That was too funny

Arsenal are getting there sure, but they aren't there yet. To be honest, I thought they had paid off their stadium debt somewhere in 2014. Thats why they could afford alexis, I thought anyway. I feel Wenger is too conservative for what they need at the moment, and its just been a club to sell on French players to other PL clubs... So often have I seen Arsenal buy totally worthless French players, when there are equal or better players on the market (from other competitions).

i feel like everyone forgets that United, City and Chelsea, have been wasting and wasting (Russian and Arab) money (especially Chelsea and City, both of them buys players with a freaking shovel...) for such a long time that having a super powerful XI isnt completely out of the equation... Real Madrid didnt got all their 11 players that won the UCL on a single summer contract, some of them have been for years there (the same can be said about some Arsenal players, but tje quality is quite different in some cases)... Im not saynig Arsenal is a poor team (far from it, they just finished their new stadium rofl), but compared to the typical champions they are 2 maybe 3 step behinds in terms of money nowadays... something I GUESS should start to change in the forthcoming years
