I am Liverpool fan but was cheering from bottom of my heart for QPR here. Liverpool is so poor this season that they might consider everything above 6th place a big sucess. Balotelli is awful and they should bench him in U21 squad.

I think the pressure from the Stoke fans got to the referee there. He made about 4-5 calls including a penalty for Swansea all against Stoke in a row. In my mind he got all those decisions right. The fans where booing chanting ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’ and generally getting on his case. Then Stoke go up the other end and have a bull shit penalty claim and the whole stadium roars at the ref and he gives it.

Also Great job Paderborn. The commentator on the English broadcast was talking about how they haven't gone out and spent lots of money and brought a load of players. This is just a good squad coming up from the 2.Bundesliga and playing their hearts out at the highest level. Really impressive if that’s true. I'm not informed enough to comment more than that.

I love the holding arms in a circle and bouncing up and down. That looks like some real team spirit.

transfermarkt.de rates their squad market value at 22,35 Mio. €, the lowest out of all the Bundesliga teams.

Next lowest is Köln's at 41,25 Mio. €

Their performance is pretty incredible.

Barcelona and Espanyol could not play in La Liga if Catalunya becomes independent. And the reasons are: our country's law for sports only allows one non-Spanish country to play in Spain, and that is Andorra. Espanyol would not want anything to do with any kind of Catalan league and would gtfo as soon as possible. Looking at the list of clubs left in the region Barcelona can kiss tv money goodbye, bankrupt within 3 years probably.

I care about the referendum. I'm catalan and never felt spanish once in my life.

Football is cool and fun but it's just not as important really. Everyone should be able to see La Liga, RM and Barça would hurt a lot if Barça left. I'm sure the french would welcome Barça into their league with open arms, but nobody wanna see that happen.

The best way to solve this would be to create a League with Clubs from Spain, Catalunya, Basque Country (They'll eventually ask for independence if Catalunya's bid go trough) and Portugal.

You would put Benfica, Porto and Sporting on the spanish league, which with the Revenue from La Liga Tv Rights would be instant contenders for the 3rd place in that league.
