I don't watch a lot of rockets games, but from last year's threads, and recaps from other sites, it seems to me that Lin was kinda underrated as a rocket and actually bailed them out some games even though every one (read howard, harden, [parsons]) kept shouting on him. Bosh already said he doesn't really want to play closer to the basket than stretch 4, so I don't really see him suddenly be willing to bang with other dudes + howard down low. I mean that'll mean he has to deal with this kind of BS: <shit I can't find this gif where rockets howard mugs rockets asik to pad his rebounds stats> coming from someone that watched all 88 rocket games...sigh...lin started the season ok, showing some improved ranged jump shots that he was practicing over the summer, then i think he got hit by injury and after all stars he was just terrible, one of the most inconsistent players out there for his talents. then came playoffs, well...he saved us one game, but he repeatedly astounded rocket fans how low his bbIQ is...that fast break (which wasn't too bad) then that mo williams steal that cost us game 4 i believe. it was crazy. although a lot could be driven with how badly he fit in the team, harden kept dumping the ball on him in the last second and i don't think other guys got angry at him per se, i still think the team had good chemistry just...urgh...terrible defence as a whole. anyway. also, dwight doesn't pad stats like that, he was our shining light in the playoffs. i remember a gif where parker got angry at someone for stealing his rebound and refused to bring the ball up the court haha. | ||
