As punishment, he hurt his back and missed most of the season. | ||

He's not a good defender, but he'd be taking the spot of Brandon Jennings. So... I don't know if he'll be better than Kyrie (when Kyrie starts giving a fuck again,) but there's a very strong case he was last year, and he's one of the best young PGs. Just need to find a 3-D guy for SF. | ||

With Monroe, I'm almost positive they'll give him a max contract. I don't think his play is worth the max, but they're not going to pull a Jazz and get nothing for him. Either he gets the max and stays, or he gets the max and gets traded. The teams being mentioned with Monroe are the Pelicans, Hawks, Blazers and Magic. The Magic and Hawks have nothing interesting to offer, Ryan Anderson still doesn't solve the Smith issue and I'm not sure the Blazers are going to give up Matthews or Batum (although it'd be nice.) Parsons might be an option, but I don't think they'll get Deng. He wants to win soon. People here seem to be in love with Morrow, but I think he's too small to really be a 3 and the defense is a bigger issue at that position than at the 1. | ||
