Its that game Roger's hypes the shit out of saying the team they own is awesome when in reality they aren't. Its not good when your owners jump on and off your bandwagon as often as Rogers does for the Jays hahahaha

That should tell you a lot.

I'm glad they didn't get to court. This would have dominated headlines for the NHL for all the wrong reasons

Between paying for a lawyer and a settlement, could be a solid seven figure bill. I guess if he was smart and hung onto his Vancouver property he'd still be ahead. Seven figure? Try eight.

Well, there is no way Bert has an eight figure sum to offer, and if thats what really was being asked of him then why not fight it, either way he is going to be broke as might as well drag it out for Moore too.

well this is going to be interesting. On one hand, this is like the 3rd or 4th part time blogger who parlayed some mild statistical knowledge into a front office job with an NHL team, kudos and fuck you. On the other hand, good luck getting Nonis and Randy to listen. On the third hand, I guess thats why Shannahan was hired, to essentially tell them to listen or get ready to move again, probably to Calgary.

in other news, the rangers got hayes, the former bc star who was drafted by the hawks but turned fa rather than sign there. i didnt see terms yet, but i am sure it's probably cheap. the rangers could use a third line winger, so at the very least he provides some depth/competition down there.
