Hard to expose weak defense when your only offensive strategy is to dump the ball to James Harden and let him dribble till there's 3 seconds left on the clock and chuck a contested 25 footer.

we are. we shot over 50% this game and i think last game too. problem is 3/5 starting line up (back when jones started) doesn't play defense...so yer..
Watching that last play of the game, Harden didn't even attempt to come back to the ball on the inbounds. He was just walking casually. Beverly was the only real option to pass to.
Look at that. That's on Harden as much as it is Beverly. It's one thing to tell Howard to pass it to Beverly, but to casually run over at that angle... you can't set a proper screen if you run in from that angle. You restrict the ballhandler's space too much. He basically funneled Beverly into Matthews.

Definitely. I'm cheering for Portland because of Harden, as much fun as I have watching him not play defense. There was that play near the end where he decided to just let Batum run past him because Dwight got the ball the last 3-4 possessions. Low percentage shooters whose offensive game is primarily fishing for fouls annoy me too.
The Rockets are such an easy team to cheer against. ;;
thought that honor belonged to the clippers
Well that used to be true, but now I personally feel for them because they have to play for a bigot.
I actually do cheer more against individual things like McHale's nonexistent/heroball game plans and Harden's complete refusal to play half the game than the Rockets themselves.
Maybe if a video comes out of a McHale and Morey conversation hating on sushi or something. :D
James Harden's a fraud. Mr. efficiency shitting it up with 35% fg in 100 shots across 4 games. Rocket's losses are 100% on him regardless of whatever people say. Kobe at his worst couldn't even chuck at that fg%.

Yeah, I share this sentiment.
I despised the Clippers mainly because of CP3+Blake. Guys get so many calls it's not even funny. And don't even get me started on the flopping...
But yeah, the whole plantation owner sort of thing happening with Sterling makes me want to cheer for them. Don't think I can though, as Warriors are a good team for the NBA.
So as much I really want to start 2nd round speculations, I really can't due to all of the chaos. There's all of what, 2 series, that are looking good for a team? Blazers/Rockets and Heat/cats? I should throw in Wizards too though.
But for the hell of it, I'll take a crack at it:
SA/Portland OKC/LA
Pacers/Brooklyn Heat/Wizards
Only series I'm 100% confident in is the Heat/Wizards.
