His post moves are still ugly, but he makes them work regularly. More importantly is the defense. The Clippers just switched on a PnR and Griffin handled Curry perfectly. And I don't really mean the last couple games. I mean he's become a mostly all-around great player. Unique physical talent + good defense + great offense. I think value wise, the contract that the clippers have with blake griffin is like, top 3 in the NBA right now, easy.

He's still awesome around the rim though. To your point, he demands huge attention from the defense and his handles are good enough that he's now dangerous in transition. I'd say he's made the leap. Nah, LeBron and Durant are clearly ahead of him, and Anthony Davis grades better if you consider contracts.

Kevin Durant for sure and anthony davis i could kinda agree with. But blake is like inked all the way to 2018 and I don't think he's even going to crack the top 10 paychecks by than.Considering his development so far,his abilities already and what he could potentially become still, that's absolutely crazy.

As for LeBron, he's going no where. Seriously, there's no logistical landing. Clippers? Not after this mess. Cleveland? Not while Dan Gilbert is the owner. The only option is probably Chicago if they choose not to pursue Anthony and that's a longshot.

They should do that regardless...

I really don't know what the standard for being a superstar is, but I don't think he's there yet. He's 2 dimensional, but he needs to really work on his jumper to be 3 dimensional.

Of course, but would you rather lock up Anthony or possibly enter a LeBron sweepstakes? I actually think very little of Carmelo so I might pull a ticket in the LeLottery.

I think that Carmelo's value will not exceed whatever salary he commands, and you cannot win the Eastern Conference (even with it sucking) without several players who are "underpaid" (like Noah, James, Wade, etc), and with DRose's massive salary, and the low chance that he will end up greatly exceeding it in production, I don't see how you can think that Anthony makes you a contender. Instead he just makes you into a fringe contender that will get slaughtered in the NBA finals if you happen to get there because of a flukey-bad Eastern Conference (ala 2007 Cavs, 2009 Magic).

With the Pacers imploding, you can switch the Heat with any West team and they'll be the favorites to come out of the East. Blazers, Warriors, Grizzlies and Mavericks would be favored if you switched them with the Heat.

The Portland Trail Blazers are wearing black socks tonight as sign of unity against the comments by Donald Sterling. Nothing big, but cool to see. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2043532-clippers-players-hold-protest-by-wearing-team-shirts-inside-out-for-warm-ups?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national2
