Immediately after I saw that signing, I became worried for the safety of Kirilenko's family. Someone's been taken hostage or something.
EDIT: Just tuning in. I knew Jackson signed, but I didn't know he was already doing games.
Even when slumping Hibbert was still good defensively. The heat don't have a good post defender though-bosh/Andersen don't cut it, but Washington and atl did. He's also been streaky as hell this playoffs though.

i don't quite follow your first point. hibbert was good defensively the throughout the first 2 rounds? like as in...he was blocking shots...contesting...rebounding? i must have watched a different series
The interesting parts will be who is playing at the 4 and 5. The Spurs love to start out with Duncan and Splitter on the floor, but Pop has been quick to yank Splitter in unfavorable matchups. It's possible Brooks would be stupid enough to put 2 of Perkins/Collison/Adams on the floor together. If that happens, I don't think the defensive improvement makes up for the offensive slog. OKC is going to have to play Durant at the 4 and pray they can just outscore the Spurs.

Actually, one the most succesful lineup (without ibaka) has been Durant, WB, jackson, collison and adams. Sure, the main point is to boost the defense, but with jackson they can hope to gain enough offense, plus the point they could get in transition with good defense. The argument is explained here :
Sure, having Ibaka would still be the better and the offense still won't look good, but oh well what can you do.
Probably 4-1 Spurs with one Durant/WB outburst and Spurs cold night. Most games will be blowouts, they don't have anyone who can replace what Ibaka gave them. Also if you're hoping Brooks will adapt well you're dreaming.
