That you either are ridiculously strong (Canada, Sweden) or that you can pull off the unexpected with massive amounts of heart (Czech Republic). USA doesn't have it, they're not a scary hockey nation on the international level. No one ever goes "oh noes USA shit why are we playing them ("Canada has a decent/good chance vs Sweden in a final, but I don't see USA winning a final against an experienced nation on the highest stage. It's the same reason Finland repeatedly chokes, they're pretty much in the same spot. They can knock out a top 2 team but no chance that they'll win the final. | ||
