So, per my earlier vague post, I strained a muscle above my tailbone about a week ago. I went and lifted today and had no pain during, but now it's kind of sore. Suck it up or a sign to rest more?

First workout in a week after being gone for a ~25 miles a day. Did squats 3x5 @ 365 and felt way too heavy lol.
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Dips are one of the only tri exercises I can do because of my elbows; everyone's gonna have different exercise capabilities, but I definitely think the exercise is worth doing if it doesn't cause pain.

Achieved hardcore status today: I am known as the guy "who trains hard as shit on the erg [rowing machine]" to girls and the competitive rowers at my club. Times are improving rapidly as well.

Weighed in at 217 yesterday. Jesus fuck I'm light. Also I dont know if it's cause i took some time off or because my shoulders are a wreck but I had a mini bodybuilding day yesterday of dips/pull ups bench/rows and curls/skull crushers and it was pretty sad. Gonna try to work in 1-2 days of dedicated upper body work. Incredibly sore today. Got adjusted though and my back feels a million times better, it's been feeling like something was lodged between my lumbar and thoracic spine for the last couple weeks.

Big rivalry game for rugby tomorrow. We're 1-4 right now so time to kick it up this weekend. Been playing well this year, can't wait to beat the crap out of this team tomorrow. There's a couple good runs from me here from a couple weeks ago at 13:00 and 38:00

I'm starting to think I might have diabetes. I'm always tired, the first hour at work every day is spent feeling like my skin is too tight, just fighting not to get a headache, I'm always thirsty even though I constantly drink, and I'm having trouble focusing my eyes and my attention. After meals I have trouble just sitting up straight.

I spent most of august and september with a sore throat and a fever, but the doctor just said to come back if it got any worse.

What I'm trying to say is summer's over, 'm a whiny fuck and I wish my squat was higher. Wah.

Go see a doctor, can't come up with anything. Or do squats/deadlifts until you are cured.

Theoretically teaches to recruit the obliques/lat better. I am a believer that anything that involves pulling in any way helps the deadlift anyway.

I'm still going too light for it to help though.

Not really. Maybe if you repeatedly tear both your biceps, but generally mixed grip is just a good idea.

Some guys have this notion that doing it double pronated will help their grip more, but that notion goes out the window pretty quick when they get to bigger weights or higher volume. If you are worried about imbalances in the stress on the upper back, you can just alternate the pronated/supinated hand.

Not sure if I fully understand the question though.

I think it's more the other way round: you should use double overhand untill you can't anymore, and then you should switch to mixed grip for those heavy sets.

Pretty happy to get 335lb deadlift double overhand yesterday after not deadlifting for a month or so.

Curious what TLHF's opinions on chiros are? I know I've seen some recommendations/comments but curious if anyone's looked into it. I've tried to do some reading online but it seems very "internet" for lack of a better description.

Chiros are not better than an MD, there just happen to be relatively few doctors with up to date sports medicine training. Chiropractic therapy is like eye drops or chap stick; they are ok if used once in a while, but if you make it a frequent habit, your body will come to depend on the therapy and you might find your pains become worse in the interim.
