It is consistently baffling how Perkins still gets minutes on an NBA team.

Damn Harden, those are Rudy Gay numbers, that's just pitiful.
Perkins is a relic of a past era, where you needed a big guy in the middle to bang with other big guys. The only guys who bang down low now are Dwight (even though stats say he shouldn't), Bynum (with his glass knees), and Brook Lopez (even though he likes the mid-ranger these days). His one use now is setting illegal picks and rarely getting called.

Well that's disappointing for Mexico City that the game was canceled.

But Blazers fans are the whiniest of whiny babbies I've ever seen in real life and online. I'm sure there are exceptions but goddamn. If you said, at any point last year, "I think Davis is probably still a better player than Lillard" you would get hugest earfull. Seahawks fans are pretty fucking awful.
I'll stand by Jerubaal's statement.

Clippers announcers are by far the worst. It's not even close.
Every team has their share of horrible fans so I don't see the big deal. Saying Blazer fans are the worst is just uncalled for.

I guess I'm a Blazers believer now, they're playing very well against OKC, that and after their Pacers win I'm convinced. Still don't know what is so different this year compared to last year, other than Robin Lopez, which can't possibly account for the amazing jump in performance.

probably because lilard now has chemistry with the team after playing a year or overall maturity for the team

My Kings are bad again sigh...

Aww, well you have to imagine they would have beaten the Thunder last night if Cousins had played.

Last year they shot 35%.

Even tonight with LMA, although he loves his midrange jumpers, he is getting a lot of post points and abusing them on the glass.
I think Perkins is just flat out bad. A skilled guy to bang in the post with other big guys would be hugely valuable in the West, if he were actually good. Davis, LMA, Z-Bo, Bogut, Cousins, etc.

Right. His defense has slipped terribly, and his offense is so bad that its 4v5 (actually worse, because you can accidentally pass to him).

And some guy who scored 35 points in game 6 of the Finals last year.
My question for the Portland doubters is is there something about their play this year that you don't like or do you just expect their numbers to go back to what they were last year? Again, I think saying they could get to the WCF is a stretch, but anything up to that seems in the realm of possibility.

how the hell did we beat portland before lol

But when Perkins does make it, he acts like he's the most badass ball player in the NBA.

Edit: I was saying Perkins only matches up against a backdown post player. These days they barely exist. Steven Adams is who you need for Duncan, AD, whoever else that likes the mid-ranger.

Damn Atlanta is holding off the Clippers here and looking pretty damn good in the process. Always been a fan of Milsap's game. Dude can flat out play.
And holy fuck. Kyle Korver has aim bot. If he was playing a FPS he would be banned from every server on the goddamn planet. Dude doesn't fucking miss.

I'm now a believer of this Portland team. I can't believe how much improvement there has been...
