Forgive me if I don't give him the benefit of the doubt this time. Watching Noah and the others battle while he was on the bench cleared to play was a little much and I'm not even a big Bulls fan.

Do take general life advice on the internet. take it anywhere you can get it; but always with a grain of salt. Take all the information in that your mind can take and then filter. Filter it all until you have a clear picture of the kind of life that suits you. You don't know what's out there if you don't look, you won't hear all the sides if you don't listen. That's the best advice I can ever give someone younger than me, is never to turn away advice.

That author did sound like a dumb jock who views intelligence in men as girly. The fitness site crowd seems to disproportionately draw the type of men who are bitter that modern society doesn't view manual labor as the epitome of masculinity and blame feminism for the rise of nerds in the workforce. I got the vibe of a frustrated athlete who didn't make it to the pros. There's no chance Rose returns for the playoffs. They opted to let the meniscus heal instead of removing part of it and subjecting him to increased risk of arthritis. It would be really dumb to backtrack on that decision and choose the shorter term option.

I actually agree with most of it especially if you are a young American male. http://boldanddetermined.com/2013/11/07/18-things-every-18-year-old-should-know/ I just read the whole thing, pretty funny stuffs. I would laugh so hard at the ppl who really follow this guy's advice.

It would be really dumb to backtrack on that decision and choose the shorter term option. seeing as they already did surgery they're not gonna cut out the meniscus now. This is dumb. Even if he has a chance of making it back in the playoffs I'd keep saying "out for season", this is how that whole PR fiasco last season occured. @Vindicare- I wouldn't pin not coming back last season on him. As far as we know he never planned on coming back last season and PR just fucked up and made it seem like a possibility. Plus I wouldn't trust the "cleared to play" thing at all. The Bulls medical staff let Omer Asik play on a broken leg and they just let Mike James play on a sprained MCL. Cleared to play by the bulls med staff doesn't mean shit. Plus medically cleared to play and ready to play are two different things.

I've got more memories than just the Olympics though for Pau although that was definitely a good one.

Literally delusional male ego power trip fantasy all up in this article. He sounds like an angry idiot with a shitty childhood. Also, good luck ever running your own business without buying on credit. See how well that plays out for you when you purchase large inventories on up front cash and never earn interest. Even people with all the cash in the world use credit. How about just having self control, and not paying the minimum balance? Like seriously, you should have a credit card and you should use it. Just don't buy what you don't have a balance for. Credit cards offer better consumer protection, slight returns and you get to take interest on your money. In short, the value of $5 today is greater than the value of $5 in the future. So if you pay up front in cash, you're paying "more" than you would if you paid the same amount 30 days from now. Just make sure to pay the statement balance (NOT the minimum balance) every month and you're good.
