They're ok, but not as good as the NFL ones. They don't really follow a consistent theme: Some find the pokemon most like their mascot, like the Tauros/Bulls. Some make puns off the names, like the Magikarp./Magic. Others were just I don't even know. Also didn't like San Antonio Sprouts, wtf?

i don't know much about basketball, but it looked to me like the Knicks chewed up and spit out both Toronto and Chicago this week. this makes u wonder what NYK would've been capable of this year had Anthony taken the recommended surgical procedure on his shoulder.

i guess hindsight is 20-20.

in baseball a torn labrum and rotator cuff is very serious and NEVER EVER played around with.

I'm not willing to blame Melo for their lack of playoffs. I have him on my fantasy team, and he was consistently producing good games. That team was hurt by injuries a little bit, but more importantly, there was just no will for most of the season it seemed like. Melo said himself that everyone was playing like the offseason was around the corner(back in february iirc). Amar'e surged at the wrong time too. They needed him to start blowing up like 2-3 months ago.

Sure, the team was hurt by injuries, but I think the biggest thing holding them back was they're constructed terribly. An NBA team cannot rely on Felton for significant minutes, pay Bargnani as much as they do, have Amar'e, who for much of the year looked like a guy who didn't really belong in the league, eat as much of the cap as he does, and pay JR Smith that much money. They're just horribly managed, and I don't see much relief unless they find the next tanking team to take the salaries with their future draft picks.

I believe that the Bobcats are going to be on National Television for the first time when they get to the playoffs, since the networks are obviously not going to put Miami on NBATV.

Lamar Odom: $8,500 for a one-game contract and hopes for a second season. I wish I could make that kind of dough.

$550 Million for the Bucks, franchise values are going to go up a lot. Good thing those Seattle buyers didn't get the team, I didn't want the Bucks to relocate with such a bad team.

Well if Miami purposely tanked to avoid Brooklyn/Chicago in the 2nd round, they've now only half succeeded, because BKN tanked their way down to the 6 to avoid Chicago/Indiana.

I mean nobody can prove that tanking is what happened, but it seems to be the theme of the season in the East from top to bottom in some form or another.
