I really like Sweden but i hope we win. The portuguese really love football and these days are hard of our country, i do hope we make it.. some happiness to the people would be good ![]() Ibrahimovic is a great player that deserves to play in the best show on earth.. but if it's beetween us and them! I got to go for our big star Ronaldo! It's true that our team sucks in the qualifiers and for me that's because of various facts: - We only use a handfull of players that play in Portugal, therefore the majority of those players come from foreign countrys and that sparks a certain type of attitude that doesn't benefit the team - Most of them are stars in those clubs or have a big influence in those teams, therefore they lack the motivation to play hard against Israel or Northern Ireland then they might play against Real Madrid, Barceona, PSG, Milan, Chelsea, whatever big club in the weekend. - Less then stelar coaching - Our team spirit doesn't come quickly, they need to be together for a longer time This is our team for the playoff: 1 GK Eduardo September 19, 1982 (age 31) 31 0 Portugal Braga 12 GK Rui Patrício February 15, 1988 (age 25) 27 0 Portugal Sporting 22 GK Beto May 1, 1982 (age 31) 5 0 Spain Sevilla 2 DF Bruno Alves November 27, 1981 (age 31) 68 10 Turkey Fenerbahçe 3 DF Pepe February 26, 1983 (age 30) 55 3 Spain Real Madrid 5 DF Fábio Coentrão March 11, 1988 (age 25) 40 2 Spain Real Madrid 21 DF João Pereira February 25, 1984 (age 29) 31 0 Spain Valencia 13 DF Ricardo Costa May 16, 1981 (age 32) 16 1 Spain Valencia DF Antunes April 1, 1987 (age 26) 6 0 Spain Málaga DF Luís Neto May 26, 1988 (age 25) 5 0 Russia Zenit Saint Petersburg DF André Almeida September 10, 1990 (age 23) 2 0 Portugal Benfica 16 MF Raul Meireles March 17, 1983 (age 30) 70 9 Turkey Fenerbahçe 8 MF João Moutinho September 8, 1986 (age 27) 63 2 France Monaco 4 MF Miguel Veloso May 11, 1986 (age 27) 43 2 Ukraine Dynamo Kyiv 15 MF Rúben Micael August 19, 1986 (age 27) 16 2 Portugal Braga MF Josué September 17, 1990 (age 23) 2 0 Portugal Porto MF William Carvalho April 7, 1992 (age 21) 0 0 Portugal Sporting 7 FW Cristiano Ronaldo (captain) February 5, 1985 (age 28) 107 43 Spain Real Madrid 17 FW Nani November 17, 1986 (age 26) 70 14 England Manchester United 23 FW Hélder Postiga August 2, 1982 (age 31) 65 27 Spain Valencia 9 FW Hugo Almeida May 23, 1984 (age 29) 51 17 Turkey Beşiktaş 18 FW Silvestre Varela February 2, 1985 (age 28) 20 5 Portugal Porto FW Éder December 22, 1987 (age 25) 6 0 Portugal Braga FW Bruma 24 October 1994 (age 19) 0 0 Turkey Galatasaray we do have more talent then just Cristiano Ronaldo.. it's just that he is on another level! Swedish team is also a balanced team, but people only talk about ibrahimovic! hope it's a nice game and that Portugal wins ![]() Cheer us on guys ![]()

But I need to say something I noticed, no matter how gay it sounds , sports are fucking awesome ! it can do what no religion , ideology or politics can do , set the differences aside and bring people together. the Jordanian people have been plagued with governmental corruption , a troubled region , fucked up economy , ridiculous traditions that separate the people , I would even go to say racism......all of a sudden this amazing run* by our football team comes , and for 1 night , I finally got to see a united Jordanian people , first time I have seen this since I came to this country from USA 18 years ago. Sports are fucking awesome !! * amazing by our standards ![]()

On the other hand you have the awesomest food, a much stabler situation than some of your neighbors, awe-inspiring national monuments and a great sense of humor. I've visited twice and it's one of my favorite countries, so cheer up. ![]()

I'm talking the CONCACAF vs Oceania and South America vs Asia. If Jordan made it would that really bring loads of Asian viewers to the world cup? I have a feeling that India and China won't be watching just because Jordan is there. If China had a realistic chance of ever qualifying FIFA would structure it so they have the best chance possible. But maybe I'm just overly cynical because of all the corruption these days in the organization.

So far none (according to my subjective criteria) have qualified, and only Iceland and Burkina Faso remain with good chances. The team closest to "fairy tale team" we have so far is Iran. So GOGO Iceland and Burkina Faso
