At least Neymar can play in his own spot and do it for years to come and he's better than the alternatives. Yeah I'm not arguing against that. I think the Bale transfer is a disaster. 100m spent on a player whose position is filled by the second best player in the world. But that isn't really his fault (well partly, but w/e). My point is that given with what he's got, not being able to play at his best position, he's doing ok and not much worse than Neymar. On February 26 2014 01:12 Steveling wrote: If you think that neymar was the key player for super cup and clasico victories as well as how important for brazil he was during the confederations up I think he's miles ahead bale, since both of them have to prove they are worth the huge sum paid for them. And I didn't say he's doing bad, just that ney is doing much better so far. Confederations cup is not important in this argument. If Bale could play on a top national team I'm sure he'd have a big impact as well. I'm just saying the difference in impact at club level is not that big, which is understandable. It's their first season at arguably the 2 biggest clubs in the world, let's give them time to adjust.

He hasn't proven anything yet in Barcelona. To be fair Neymar cannot show his full potential with Messi on the pitch with him, it's just retarded. These 2 players need freedom and people playing for them, it was reaaally stupid to buy him. And at what price?... Like Ysellian said, with that amount of money, they could have bought a world class defender + a world class striker (Suarez would have been a perfect fit indeed :p). His transfer crippled Barcelona for 2 seasons, as they had to pay a part of the transfer the year before and they could only afford Song (who isn't a big success either, but it's not really his fault). The team needs severe changes before they can accomplish something big again ![]()

that being said, rosell is a horrible president and rightfully got fired/resigned. He made a lot of dumb decisions but i can't really blame him too much for signing neymar. Lying about it was what killed him, but again it was to save face so that he didn't have to admit that neymar cost like 120 mil(real said they would have had to pay 150 for neymar).

I'm guessing the soonest he will be fired is when it looks like man utd will fail to qualify for the champions league again next season. It was so stupid to give him a 6-year contract... I hope moyes stays longer though so he can keep ruining man u and japan's best player at the same time. killing two birds with one stone kekekekeke.

I can only imagine what his price will be after yesterday's performance and the world cup partnership with Sokratis.
