I think league is the 1st priority for Mourinho, then CL.

There was a key example in the 1st half Hazard smashes a 40 yard cross field pass it bounced about 4 foot in front of Ivanovic and didn't even bounce.. Close ups of the pitch showed how long the grass was and how slow the ball was moving on the grass. City don't need to have a problem with it because they can train on it for the last week they have had without a game. Suggest you re watch and have a look

And yea sure the grass is bad, I noticed it to, but I think your missing the part where home teams play Barca and mediocre to lousy pitches week in week out, well maybe not week in week out but you get my point. Sure it sucks but that shouldnt really matter to any professional team if home sides pull that shit, its their prerogative. I dont think it will be a problem. Also the other team being used to playing on a mediocre pitch is about the worst excuse ive ever heard for being dominated so thoroughly man for man. A

Yet, Pellegrini is clearly still wary of Barcelona and their ability to keep the ball. Even in their current state which is the worst in many years. I mean if Pepe came up against Barca i think he will tell his Bayern team to KEEP the ball from Barca and school them at their own game. He wouldn't do anything like keep grass long on the pitch or play counter vs them. He would go toe to toe. Which is what i thought Man City would do, they did it vs everyone else. They did it vs Bayern and lost but they are a better team now than when they were then. Yet looks like they are going to pull that kind of thing too. Interesting ^_^ Chelsea lost today due to playing like crap. Luiz is not a central defender, Mikel is way to slow and we have a huge striker problem again. Also Man City played Milner to double up on Hazard so he if he had the ball had no options. It's fine though, it is a nice wake up call for them, Mourinho will ground them back into shape by Everton on Saturday i hope.

WhoScored.com predicted 2-0 for Barcelona and I was like: "no way, it's freaking Rayo, 4-0 is the least we can expect".

@Steveling: Come on man, it's Rayo, a team that in the last 5 encounters has the beautiful record of 1-22 against Barcelona. Playing like this, in the Nou Camp, it was too easy for Barcelona. Good things are that we saw Puyol, Neymar came back and scored a nice goal, and the win gives them confidence for the game against City. But their level is still worrying.
