It proves one thing; Chelsea creative players are as good as they look. You put a world class striker into that team and he will have bundles of goals to his name. I just cannot wait to see who it will be.
I think that is taking away from the class of Eto'o a bit. You can't blame a world class player for not scoring tons of goals (although 25 in 53 apps certainly isn't bad) in a meaningless league with most likely inferior training techniques / odd weather conditions / language issues etc.

What makes etoo greedier than other football players? :p because he left inter, the sinking ship?

he probably meant because he left it for the lower league and weaker club, only basing his decision on money

The only good thing though is that with Chelsea learning so very slowly that 30 year old players and above can get pretty shite fast that they do not offer these players anything more than 1 year contracts now. So Lampard - Eto'o - John Terry - Ashley Cole are all out of contract in the summer so they all are "playing" for their places and contracts every time they play which is another nice move by the management team. I am confident that all but Eto'o will get offered new deals and all will have their wages halved to stay which again should be right
1 year contracts is a ridiculous way to treat players like Lampard and Terry. They're the legends of the team for the next generation of footballers and they should be treated as such.
If you get offered €20 million a year to play there without being in the top 10 of players in the world, you would never ever say no. That'd be a very stupid thing to do.
Very true, but who wants a player that is 30+ who all of a sudden goes from looking good to losing 1 yard of pace and being injured anyway. There is a fine balance and i don't mind if they choose to do it that way. So far all apart from Eto'o look like they will get a new contract in the summer for another year anyway. Just Eto'o i think won't due to use buying another striker and i don't think anyone would buy Torres so he stays xD Then Lukaku comes back and becomes 2nd/3rd choice with Eto'o and Ba going.

It's only part of the reason, but more importantly, towards the end of his peak in Barcelona he was whining about his wages quite seriously, even though he was the most payed player on the roster (or top3) and chose struggling Inter because they offered him even more money. Even then he still wasn't satisfied, so he chose even more cash in Anzhy or whatever you spell their name. That's why I dislike him for greediness.

City 1-3 Bayern Bayern 2-3 City
"City so good, they were almost a match for Bayern!"
Don't know the comments you link but yes, exactly over 2 legs good teams give good teams games. However we shall see with Arsenal if that can be repeated ^_^

Appreciation a player feels is usually correlated very closely to the wages a player receive.
Yeah the local papers said that this morning. He fell out with owner in Summer, no way was he going to stay if they were having bad season. Clearly are as of now
The long-rumored David Beckham-Miami marriage could be close to coming to fruition, according to a report in The Miami Herald.
The newspaper reported Monday that Beckham had exercised his expansion option as he pursues a team in Miami, a deal that hinges on securing a privately-funded stadium plan. Beckham will be in Miami this week for a variety of public and private events, including a press conference on Wednesday morning with MLS Commissioner Don Garber and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez at the Perez Art Museum in downtown Miami.
