Hazard can be as good as Messi or Ronaldo if he puts in more effort according to Jose Mourinho

Cannot wait to see us go on from that, played so well. And Matic...DAT SHOT, damn haha nearly took the roof off! GG, now we need to follow up with GOALS against Newcastle on Saturday

In the meantime, you'll never guess who holds Unofficial 2013-14 Champions League Championship... It's freaking... + Show Spoiler + Wolverhampton Wanderers! The title got buried forever in English League One after Aston Villa's FA Cup defeat against Sheffield United. Source

Source I apologize for stepping in on this statistically accurate and scientific way to determine the true european champion but the 4-2 of Dortmund against Bayern was an "official game" but it was in the pre season and everyone treated it like one. So the next (and fricking only game) they lost were to ManCity which would make them super champions!

Chelsea instead played really impressive. To me, they are still the toughest PL team to beat.

In the Champions League we will pay the price for that?

As I said in previous thread, the rules of UWCh don't count the difference between "pre-season" and "competitive" games. The titleholder has to step up and perform regardless of circumstances! (He's got the drawing odds, after all).

Well I don't follow the PL too closely, the major part of my opinion comes from international games, especially against German teams. ManCity got kind of dominated by Bayern and also by Dortmund last season. And besides, they seem to struggle in the CL in general. Similar observations could be made of Arsenal. Chelsea, on the other hand, are solid as hell, at least when it counts. They might be inconsistent in the PL, but they can give the best teams in the world more than a run for their money. I mean, they won the CL 2012 and the EL 2013, that alone should put an end to any doubts. I am aware of their striker "problem", but tactically they are uncontested in England. I am almost 100% sure that Bayern will sweep Arsenal, but I would be worried if they had to face Chelsea again.

However stopping a team from scoring in 180minutes is more difficult than 90 xD Reason i think City over 2 legs might be a bit more of a threat than Chelsea. Take the Bayern games, yes Bayern were not 100% strong at the Allianz but in total it was a close game over 2 legs. City 1-3 Bayern Bayern 2-3 City Bayern win 5-4 on Aggregate if was a 2 leg knock out game xD Proves they can score vs probably the best team in the world right now, not only that proves they can score in best teams backyard more than once. So im sure Barcelona now it wont be easy stopping City from scoring. However i do concede City are no where near "good" at the back right now. Was a last resort to bring him in. Mourinho wanted a striker into the club, Torres he knew was going to be hit and miss. Demba Ba he doesn't rate. Lukaku he thinks was to young, that left him with no other option. He chose Eto'o as he was the only one avaible to him xD However as you can see he has scored goals, Eto'o the guy who couldn't score in the Russian league scoring in the toughest league in the world lol. It proves one thing; Chelsea creative players are as good as they look. You put a world class striker into that team and he will have bundles of goals to his name. I just cannot wait to see who it will be. Big rumors suggest it will be Diego Costa now as Atletico are desperate to keep hold of Courtios. He would be a good fit due to how physically strong he looks, he would not be concerned with the physicality of the premier league. Also his finishing is quite amazing ^_^ Also Simeone plays like a Mourinho way, every player has to work as hard as possible for the team in both attack and defense.

I am confident that all but Eto'o will get offered new deals and all will have their wages halved to stay which again should be right

Boateng stumbled over the ball in unrealistic fashion so I wouldnt count that goal . but Bayern can be beaten. theyve struggeld in almost every game against strong teams, like Dortmund (league game was closer than it looks), Chelsea almost won, MC won second game.
