Scored on his debut after only coming on for the last 16 minutes. Class, way above our level IMHO.

In fact they spend much less than they need to, I wish they splurged 30m for 2 class defenders, Q_Q.

Yeah there is a very obvious lack of talent and ability in the defense at the moment, from a purely defensive standpoint. Abidal is a huge miss, Jordi Alba is no where near as good a defender, no Puyol to keep Pique who literally goes from awesome to shit week after week. Thiago Silva was really the one that got away.

GG. Wenger on the signing: Arsene Wenger has revealed that Spartak Moscow will cover Kim Kallstrom’s wages while he’s out injured and confirmed that he was aware of the Swede’s injury problem before finalising the paperwork for his loan. Facing the media after Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace the boss was, somewhat unsurprisingly, quizzed on the news his temporary signing won’t kick a ball in anger for the Gunners for at least a month going so far as to admit that he’d have pulled out of the deal had time not been a factor. “Yes of course it crossed my mind,” said Wenger about whether he came close to reneging on Kallstrom’s contract offer. “I would not have signed him if we had two or three more days to do something, but it was Friday night at five o’clock, so it was [a case of] you [sign] nobody or you do it under these conditions. “I decided to do it because we might, because of the number of games we have now in February, we might need the players in March or April. There is a possibility [that he may not play] but as well there is the possibility that he scores us the winning goal that might be vitally important. “At some stage in our job you have to make a decision. Are you wrong or right? You will only know at the end of the season. I made this decision because, since the start of the season, all our central midfielders have missed a part of the season – whether it’s Flamini, Wilshere, Arteta, Chamberlain or Cazorla. “All of them have had injuries and it can happen that a few of them miss the next part [of the season] together. It’s true that in the first four to six weeks we have not sorted that problem out.” “[Being fit at the end of February] is the best-case scenario. I’m sure if you have played football you might have played with a micro-fracture of your vertebra without even noticing it because on a normal scan you don’t find out. He might play before that [the end of February] but he might play as well later.” Source

So that Real game didn't go to plan! They are still without Bale in which i thought he was back by yesterdays game but clearly not. Bilbao were just hustling Madrid first half and then at the start of the second half and it was clearly Reals game to lose after they went 1-0 up but a good goal from Bilbao and was a level game. Real probably would of went on to win it if the referee didn't go stupid mode and send Ronaldo off for no reason >.< Silly Spanish refs! Still 3 point lead at the top now for Atletico Madrid that is going be interesting. They have to play Barca in the Nou Camp last game of the season which also makes it awesome.

![]() No Aguero and City would of lost 1-0 to Chelsea let alone 2-1 thanks to Hart's howler. I think JT and Cahill can cope with Negredo and Dzeko. Without Nasri they lack another creative midfielder of any note as Silva can be kept quiet for 90minutes rather easily. Just whether or not Yaya turns up.

Mourinho's Real team played counter attack at times and were still nice to watch. Chelsea will defend/hustle without the ball but with it we will still play our fast paced game. To say we are going to there like Arsenal without any intention of denying City their game and try to impose ours 100% and lose 6-4 is not going to happen xDThe way i would go about it is to hustle like we did vs Liverpool and hope we can finish like we did against Yanited. If we do that, then as i say i think we win 3-1 ^_^ I only give them one goal because like when we played vs Yanited, we have moments where we switched off at 3-0 and when you do that you concede goals and works doubley for City, even without Aguero.
