Supposedly he wasn't bought but rather he is on loan with his wages being payed + more and a fee was agreed, but this fee is only to be paid at the end of his loan (which is this year I believe). Just a very weird way of signing a player for which Feyenoord didn't actually have the funds, KNVB called for a study to see how legal this was.

edit: Also no recalls are allowed and Feyenoord aren't allowed to back down on the loan. So it is a bit shady unfortunately.

Yeah, Eriksen, Chiriches and Lloris are basically the only Spurs' players you cannot have any complaints about this season.

Stats on WhoScored.com are funny. Stuttgart has 22% posession, 1-6 in corners, 8-16 in shots, pass success 57% to Bayern's 88% and their central midfielders have basically 4 times less football touches than their Bavarian counterparts. 72 minute and still 1-0, though. Gogo Rani Khedira, live up to brother's reputation!

Yes indeed, Rose is probably the worst player in the squad. Unfortunately Spurs have no other left backs except an out-of-position Vertonghen and he's still hurt. Dawson and Lennon are almost equally poor though.

Dembele is doing a great job containing Toure. If not for that City would be up 3-0 by now.
