Fuck me, I'm so mad with our management now, not only he was our best player for the man.u games, his price will keep raising after the world cup, I just can't understand why they sold him now. Also Olympiakos has 0 financial problems so it's not like they were forced to part with him. Really disappointing that Mitroglou ends up at a lower table Premier League club ![]() Knowing him, he will spend there one and a half seasons before a big team approach him but that's another weird point in this transfer, if he had stayed to olympiakos until the world cup he could go to a big team in august.

Kono(..) would be great, Sterling at 19 shouldn't be starting every game imo, would be great for impact/cup games/cover for now. edit: On January 30 2014 00:50 Pandemona wrote: I remember when they signed him i thought what the f....there are better keepers than him around? Also what is wrong with Reina. I mean Reina and Cech were by far the two best keepers in the premiership for about 5 seasons in a row. They would be going head to head for Clean Sheet awards every season. Then they just put him at the back and said no thanks we are going with Mignolet. Strange xD Reina was in Rodgers ear all summer about desperately wanting to join Barca, then when did Barca didn't come in for him and he was told he wouldn't be first choice at Liverpool, he asked to go on loan, hoping Barca will come back for him next summer (they won't).

Townsend injured and been playing poorly since the last qualifying game. Walcott injured, England have no one RW as i think (i hope) we play 4-3-3. Thus my front 3 would be; Sturridge --- Rooney ---- Sterling Something like that is what i would go with. Welbeck on the bench with Carroll when he starts banging them in for fun and we are set. Is a hard one with England all the time though but i think something like that is the way to go. Rooney playing like that means he can drop into midfield more and play in Sturridge from the left. With our good choices of LBs and having 3 CMs we should be fine in cover if Sturridge can't be assed to track back ![]() Sterling however is more disciplined and will do that.

No spanish newspaper has ever published anything even close afaik. And I'm talking about Marca and As, who literally make a living off throwing shit at Barça, Messi and anything related to them... all year long. It's one of the reasons the Ballon d'Or this year is considered such a joke by so many.

It's one of the reasons the Ballon d'Or this year is considered such a joke by so many. There are a bunch of them. Quite surprised Marca and AS haven't picked up on it, because it is just written in the UEFA Club Financial Control Body rule book you can download. Not providing accurate financial statements or not having these available is punishable by point reduction and being withheld from European Football. Glasgow rangers for example have been banned from European football for 3 years. Of course first it needs to be proven Barcelona are actually guilty of anything, which I doubt they are

And it wasn't about stealing money for himself. Different ammounts of money involved in the transfer were considered as different matters so Barcelona would pay less taxes on the whole transfer. That is most likely true if you ask me. No team has ever been forced to show all the ins and outs of a transfer business, at least not in Spain. It is assumed that this is done in every big transfer really. I don't wanna defend Rosell btw, just stating what I think is the truth.

I'm guessing because Rosell has resigned, he has taken personal responsibility for the actions undertaken. As for showing the transfer business, I don't think that is forced anywhere. However in the Netherlands at least if an expenditure is taxed too low there will be questions asked, Feyenoord are in some minor troubles considering a transfer we made ourselves.

Reopening the voting season for a few more weeks after his hat trick. The huge marketing the spanish media made favoring him and against Messi and Barcelona, including accusations of him of using drugs and Messi's father having business with druglords. CR "literally carrying" his team... into not winning a single trophie, not even Pichichi for him. If you don't think this was really shady you are too naive. The only reason this Ballon d'Or is not gonna be up there with Owen and Cannavaro for the most bullshit award, is that CR actually played good enough football to deserve it lol. Ribéry and Messi too, but whatever, most people here are ok with him winning. Specially because most of the player still refer to Messi as the best now and ever :D The rest was such a joke that the hype was nowhere to be found.

Now who will rack up points and make me feel like a hipster? And it looks like Flamini will be suspended for four games (three for straight red, one because he's already served a yellow card suspension this season). Plus Ramsey is out for another 4-6 weeks after reaggravating a calf injury T_T

But yeh it was deserved this time. which transfer Ysellian? Immers transfer. Supposedly he wasn't bought but rather he is on loan with his wages being payed + more and a fee was agreed, but this fee is only to be paid at the end of his loan (which is this year I believe). Just a very weird way of signing a player for which Feyenoord didn't actually have the funds, KNVB called for a study to see how legal this was. edit: Also no recalls are allowed and Feyenoord aren't allowed to back down on the loan. So it is a bit shady unfortunately. On January 30 2014 04:54 Twisted wrote: Weird stuff.
