Mostly premier league though, with a sprinkle of Serie A and La Liga.

I usually watch a couple of games + match of the day and the football league show. I know next to nothing about European football besides what i see on here and bbc news.

I watch every Arsenal game. Then I usually watch one game from each time slot in the Prem and the Bundesliga, with one of the streams on mute. I've been trying to watch Serie A games this season, but I don't really know many of the teams or players and don't know who to support. I'll watch La Liga if Barca/Real Madrid/Atletico are playing each other, but that's pretty much it.
I watch the Champions League at every chance I get, I don't care what teams are playing. And sometimes I'll watch MLS if I'm feeling masochistic.

Premier League: Cardiff manager Malky Mackay sacked after talks with Vincent Tan.
Sad day.
|
Now Malky Mackay will be the most overrated manager in England. We'll see if it was really his managerial skills or Tan's money that got Cardiff promoted.

Hannover 96 fired Slomka today. The guy who nearly got a championship with Schalke (!), the guy who led Hannover to Europa League 2 years in a row. I think it's a really bad move for them, the management seems to have unrealistic targets. But as observer you never know what's going on inside the club. Guess we will see, but I think Slomka is a top5 coach of the Bundesliga. There were even talks about him going to Bayern after Heynckes retirement (well obviously we have someone called Guardiola there now)

According to Le Parisien, Paris St Germain are keeping a close eye on Lionel Messi's situation at Barcelona - amid reports of unrest. The French outfit are one of an elite group of clubs who could afford the kind of fee required to land the Argentine forward - with reports of 200million euros (£167m) doing the rounds.
lol?

yep, pretty much a stupid move - every coach has a low at some point, Slomka has proven himself a very able coach, there was no need to sack him

It was a combination. You can't get to the EPL without good management and lots of spending, look at Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn, Reading etc. this year.

With that track record wonder if West Brom might make an approach for him. I mean he clearly is good would of said Cardiff but that seems to be below him xD Maybe even Tottenham if they didn't give Sherwood an 18month deal

Vincent Tan statement on Malky Mackay's sacking:
There has been a good deal of publicity generated by and about Mr Malky Mackay over the last few months. Indeed far too much dirty linen has been exposed to the public gaze.
“But, I stress, not by me. Indeed, I have deliberately not responded to this, hoping that the Club can be judged on its football rather than personalised arguments about who said what to whom.
“I have, however, regretfully concluded that it is no longer fair to the Club, its players, its fans, or the public more generally, for this uncomfortable state of affairs to continue. Cardiff City Football Club means far too much to us all for it to be distracted by this.

Andre Villas-Boas hints that his next job will not be in England
Kind of a sad story. Though admittedly, he has only himself to blame, for moving to Bayern rather than a smaller club.

lol he's acting like he didn't instigate the whole thing.
