![]() PSG is Ibra's team, but Blanc is being very smart about it and don't worry about Cavani, he has plenty of opportunities to show what he's best at.

AFAIK, the official Barcelona statements never disclosed how the 57 million were spent. Do you have any other solid sources on everything you're saying? Please don't reference spanish sports media outlets a la Marca, sport, etc. Meanwhile, copies of transfer documents from Santos football club, obtained by Brazilian media site Globoesporte, reveal that Barcelona paid €17.1 million for Neymar in what was an overall €57 million deal. Of that, €9 million went to Santos, €7 million to investment company DIS Esporte and €1 million on taxes. The remaining €40.1 million, in the overall €57 million deal, was paid to Neymar and his father - also his agent - as "commission" and a signing-on fee. The documents also show that Barcelona agreed to pay €2 million if Neymar finished among the top three finalists for the Ballon d’Or award. They also arranged to play two friendlies with Santos. I dont pretend to really know how the football business works, but this sounds so wrong. Am i reading this right that Barca paid 40 million directly to Neymar before he ever played a single game? This, weird TV deals, Ronaldo who is basically owned by the EZB, the Nike/Barca thing, massive depts without anyone giving a fuck.... i don´t know the football in spain looks more and more like the italian in the 90´s and early 00´s. Full of "dark" business deals and manipulation in some ways

You guys are forgetting that a guy like Eto'o needs less time to make a decision on the ball because technically he's better. So in the end he's still faster. He might be slow-ish in a sprint or whatever, but in terms of vision and technical skill he outshines most of the players in the MLS so he should do just fine. It's not like he became senile all of a sudden. If you have a good first touch you have a second extra to make a decision. Even Beckham did fine in the MLS for years afaik. Granted I've never seen him play in the MLS, but if you're the poster boy of a league I doubt he'd get outplayed by some athletes. It's like saying Usain Bolt would do better in the MLS than Eto'o because he runs fast.

Lets hope he will use some of them on good causes when he doesn't play anymore... He played as a winger at Palermo, and I think even in Uruguay. It's not something new, but yeah I agree he's better as a striker.

It's like saying Usain Bolt would do better in the MLS than Eto'o because he runs fast. Oh, when I say physical I don't mean they are faster. I mean defenders can be fucking crazy with their tackles and get away with so much. After Dempsey's first couple games in the league he said that challenges in MLS are constantly reckless and wild and go unpunished and there was a large article on how the physicality of the MLS Cup Final was so high that it is to the detriment of the league. Eto'o is probably just as fast as most players in the MLS aside from the young super athletes we have that don't have any technical ability. You're right, he'll be way better than most players because of his skills.
