About the Rosell thing in that transfer, media in Spain reports that said person claims Rosell actually "distracted" 40m in order to sustract them anomally. Probably to put them in his own wallet. Sounds shady!

What's sad about cavani is that Blanc refuses to play ibra a bit in the back so cavani can play striker, so poor edinson is forced to play as a winger, its like 100% the opposite of his skillset.

I don't think you can really fault anyone for playing ibra in his preferred position.

4-3-3 is the defensive formation, in attack the attacking trio move so much out of their zones, and Matuidi bombs forward often as well and with the perfect passes from Verratti or Motta it's a mindfuck for the defense. If you watch Cavani's goals this season you'll see he is always scoring them as a true 9, and Ibra often assists or is involved in the build up. Acutally Ibra is leading the goal scored AND the assist table in ligue 1, it's so sick

PSG is Ibra's team, but Blanc is being very smart about it and don't worry about Cavani, he has plenty of opportunities to show what he's best at.

Good thing we gave him to Everton and bought Neymar, we saved so much money and trouble! Oh wait... By the way about Rosell and Neymar (the two best Nike friends), some opponent to Rosell in Barcelona denounced him for faking the numbers in the Neymar's transfer and for taking bad decisions about how to spend the money. We know that Rosell gave 40 millions to Neymar's father, and Barcelona has always claimed that they only paid something like 60M in total (when everybody knows that it's about a 100...). Man, the election is soooo far it's so hard to see this guy ruining this club... Laporta was no angel either but this Rosell is probably one of the worst president in the history of the club, if not the worst. And they've had some bad presidents...

Just being the devil's advocate here. I'm usually wary of phrases that start with "Everybody knows that...", specially when it comes to sports media. AFAIK, the official Barcelona statements never disclosed how the 57 million were spent. Do you have any other solid sources on everything you're saying? Please don't reference spanish sports media outlets a la Marca, sport, etc.

Meanwhile, copies of transfer documents from Santos football club, obtained by Brazilian media site Globoesporte, reveal that Barcelona paid €17.1 million for Neymar in what was an overall €57 million deal.

Of that, €9 million went to Santos, €7 million to investment company DIS Esporte and €1 million on taxes. The remaining €40.1 million, in the overall €57 million deal, was paid to Neymar and his father - also his agent - as "commission" and a signing-on fee.

The documents also show that Barcelona agreed to pay €2 million if Neymar finished among the top three finalists for the Ballon d’Or award. They also arranged to play two friendlies with Santos.

Two days after coming up huge for Sporting Kansas City in their MLS Cup victory, the veteran goalkeeper has decided to hang up his gloves after a 19-year professional career, announcing his retirement on Monday.

I dont pretend to really know how the football business works, but this sounds so wrong. Am i reading this right that Barca paid 40 million directly to Neymar before he ever played a single game?

This, weird TV deals, Ronaldo who is basically owned by the EZB, the Nike/Barca thing, massive depts without anyone giving a fuck.... i don´t know the football in spain looks more and more like the italian in the 90´s and early 00´s. Full of "dark" business deals and manipulation in some ways

Wow Eto'o going to MLS is pretty big. He still showed a decent level in Prem but he just has no strength. Im guessing it will be less contact in MLS so it should be easier for him. However if he turns up like he did in Russian league then he might be a waste of space again. Because an unfit Eto'o is a shit Eto'o

MLS is ridiculously physical actually, physicality without the technical skill that exists in the EPL. The MLS final showcased how wild players are with challenges and the ref's openly sanction it.

It might be physical but it´s still very easy for a guy that has seen all the big leagues in Europe. You guys are forgetting that a guy like Eto'o needs less time to make a decision on the ball because technically he's better. So in the end he's still faster.

He might be slow-ish in a sprint or whatever, but in terms of vision and technical skill he outshines most of the players in the MLS so he should do just fine. It's not like he became senile all of a sudden. If you have a good first touch you have a second extra to make a decision.

Even Beckham did fine in the MLS for years afaik. Granted I've never seen him play in the MLS, but if you're the poster boy of a league I doubt he'd get outplayed by some athletes.

It's like saying Usain Bolt would do better in the MLS than Eto'o because he runs fast.

Must be nice for Eto'o to go to 1 club after another and rake in the millions to his bank account, securing a financial future of freedom as soon as he retires. Lets hope he will use some of them on good causes when he doesn't play anymore...

Must be nice for Eto'o to go to 1 club after another and rake in the millions to his bank account, securing a financial future of freedom as soon as he retires. Lets hope he will use some of them on good causes when he doesn't play anymore...

Well, every star player has solved his money problem since their first contract with a big team, this case barca, now he's just adding to his moneypile of money, xD.

What's sad about cavani is that Blanc refuses to play ibra a bit in the back so cavani can play striker, so poor edinson is forced to play as a winger, its like 100% the opposite of his skillset.

He played as a winger at Palermo, and I think even in Uruguay. It's not something new, but yeah I agree he's better as a striker.

Lol the kid has so much potential as well. He could become so good if he gets used to the premiership physicality and keeps his awesome feet and turn of pace. Barcelona would have a Bale by the time Everton have educated him lol

Well, and Sevilla's president Del Nido was condemned to 7 years of prison 2 days ago for money laundering and a few other charges. Good good...

MLS is ridiculously physical actually, physicality without the technical skill that exists in the EPL. The MLS final showcased how wild players are with challenges and the ref's openly sanction it.

Ah in that case i don't see him doing that well then :S

Oh, when I say physical I don't mean they are faster. I mean defenders can be fucking crazy with their tackles and get away with so much. After Dempsey's first couple games in the league he said that challenges in MLS are constantly reckless and wild and go unpunished and there was a large article on how the physicality of the MLS Cup Final was so high that it is to the detriment of the league.

Eto'o is probably just as fast as most players in the MLS aside from the young super athletes we have that don't have any technical ability. You're right, he'll be way better than most players because of his skills.
