According to a report coming out of England tonight, David Beckham has decided that his Miami MLS team will temporarily play at Sun Life Stadium before moving to a brand-new 75,000 seater stadium that will be built with money from David Beckham and his investors. If true, it’s a logical move by Beckham. Sun Life Stadium, even as a temporary home, offers the best location, facilities and easy access for soccer fans throughout South Florida compared to Marlins Park (which doesn’t possess a conducive experience for watching soccer games in a stadium designed for baseball) and FIU Stadium (which is located too far for soccer fans from Broward and Palm Beach Counties). It must suck to support a club that has won the league 13 times in the last 20 seasons. Or a club that outspends nearly everyone in Europe and won two European trophies in less than a year. lol, just watched this video and I found it pretty hilarious. Some of the people in the comments section need to realize this is just a joke haha. But i do think it's unfair to park and i think it gives a wrong impression of what's really happening. i'll explain. Park ju young never got a chance at arsenal imo and fucking chamakh was chosen ahead of him. CHAMAKH. If he was given a chance and failed, i'd accept it, but he never did, and he even scored a goal in one of the FOUR games he's made an appearance in. Plus, park actually WANTS to leave and a few french/german clubs showed interest in the summer and wigan wanted him on loan like a month ago. But arsenal doesn't want to sell him for a low price and wanted wigan to pay for nearly all of his wages. wenger has accepted high offers from rich middle eastern clubs but park doesn't want to go because he knows it would be career suicide to play in the desert. basically, park wants to stay in europe to play and clubs made offers, but those teams won't pay what arsenal wants. Arsenal wants to get full price and accepted offers from middle-eastern clubs, but park doesn't want to play there. It's really a game of chicken. oh, and park gets paid like 40,000 - 60,000 wages, so he's not exactly cheap to keep around either. Oh, and lol at the JYP reference haha | ||

Liga in a 1,500 seater stadium. The shirt is from sometime between 2004-2007, a period in which they actually won a CL group game vs Porto 3-2 coming back from 0-2 down! They finished the group with a record of 1-3-2, losing twice to Inter and drawing twice with Rangers. I sure hope it's real haha since there probably aren't too many of these in Canada (or outside of Slovakia for that matter). | ||
