Watching ever BVB game so far this season (and last), this team has been a colossal disappointment; so many chances are wasted. They need some actual finishing talent, and instead we see everyone, including the "superstars" Reus and Lewandowski, wasting tons of chances. Reminds me of my NHL team here in the States; lots of talent, but no finishing capability (or at least they are underperforming in that area). who the fuck is dortmund??? :D i didn't expect this going so well without ribery. alaba did such an awesome job tonight. Well, when a team's entire starting back four is injured, along with a key midfielder, things aren't going to go so well. Although I still expected better from BVB at home and with Ribery out. So yea, this season's pretty much over, so there's little reason to watch aside from CL/relegation placements. Probably the one negative side to European football that I see compared to American sports here at home. I also called this early November last season (and yet I was right), and I'm calling it again; I'll be shocked in Bayern doesn't get a Treble (again) this year. The Bundesliga has about the same competitive nature as the SPL, so the League/Cup are already locked, and I haven't seen any team look half as dominant as Bayern does this year. The depth on this squad is absolutely unbelievable.

Injuries excuse letting in a couple goals (as it's the starting back four that is injured + Gundogan), but it doesn't really excuse getting shut out at home. Terrible performance up front.

Terrible performance up front. It doesn't. The frontline today had a collective failure, especially disappointed with Lewandowski.

That's with the best possible offensive line-up we have. Maybe the team is too hectic/running too much and doesn't have the concentration in front of the goal I don't know. Yea. I also honestly don't like Lewa up front anymore, especially with his questionable dedication to the team. Not only do I think he's overrated (he's still fantastic, but he's not the godsend that people think he is), I'm just not convinced he's giving BVB his all, since he is just going to leave for bigger money and easier trophies next year. I think that once BVB turns the page and moves on from him, they'll actually improve up front.

In Dortmund he was one to make things happen. I still don't know what to think about Mkhitaryan. He's such a gifted player but it feels as most things work better with Hofmann on.
