He's such a gifted player but it feels as most things work better with Hofmann on. I think Mkhi does really well and has a lot of potential, but that's the thing; he has potential. He was competing in Ukraine last year, and I think he needs time to grow with next-level competition. It's not like he was a cemented top-level starter like we see on the Bayern/Barca/Real/Man U/Chelsea squads.

I just hope Gündogan comes back soon, he is my favourite Dortmund player. I want to see him doing well at the world cup, he could be a starter now that Khedira is most likely out.

I'm happy with the result though, I would take 2-0 anytime. Credit to Giroud for sticking it to Boruc.

Last years data but somebody want to do the math? For the first time since 2008, Forbes.com has calculated the franchise valuations for the 19 clubs of Major League Soccer. Not surprisingly, the Seattle Sounders are the most valuable North American soccer franchise, valued at $175 million. The Los Angeles Galaxy are a close second, valued at $170 million. What is surprising is how the Sounders compare to other professional sports teams in North America and to soccer clubs in the English Premier League. Based on those values, the Sounders would be ranked as the 13th most valuable soccer club in the EPL and ahead of eight teams, including Aston Villa ($174 million), Stoke City ($161 million), and Queens Park Rangers ($102 million).
