But ofc your point stands, away from home should be where Chelsea win more as teams wont sit back as much at home. If we can score goals then games like Everton shouldn't happen and then the winning mentality we ensue should help us keep the undefeated record at home! We have domestically anyway ![]()

Chelsea kind of just dominates every game in the EPL because opponents have to park the bus super hard* so they don't get destroyed by Mata - Oscar - Hazard or whoever plays which makes the games pretty boring at times. Offensive teams against them though make for great matches with quick movement of the ball and tons of chances for both sides. Schalke is a team like that. * the irony, right? :D Mata actually playing? That's a good joke.

I'd have instantly added Juan Mata and Gareth Bale as of last season, not so much now. Oscar though...

Should add Ribery, Lahm and Lewandowski (and remove Neuer actually, great goalkeeper, but I can't think of a single spectacular save from him last season). Is there a rookie of the year award or sth similar to that on a european level btw? Sure haven't heard of it. It would be a lot more interesting to compile a list for that with players like Lukaku, Isco, Götze on it and looking at them in a couple of years.

My own list makes a lot of changes from that one, really. And big names like Rooney, Aguero or Pirlo aren't making it for now. I don't think Isco is anywhere near close to making it either I'm missing Muller and Robben too and it hurts. This is what I got, with my own bias showing just enough and considering what titles they won this year: Manuel Neuer, Victor Valdés Lahm, David Alaba, Matt Hummels, Thiago Silva Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta, Yaya Touré, Mario Götze, Sergio Busquets, Bastian Schweinsteiger Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Ribery, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Radamel Falcao, Edinson Cavani, Gareth Bale, Robin Van Persie, Mesut Ozil, Lewandoski

Personally I think out of anyone in the world, Bale played the most important role for his team. Barcelona and Real would be great teams without Messi or Ronaldo but Spurs were three classes weaker without Bale

Number of German Teams in the CL final last season: 2 sounds legit. Guys that are definitely missing or in this season: Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Lewandoski, Ribery(!!!!) maybe Gündogan, Khedira, Reus, Alaba, Bale (overhyped and way overpaid in my opinion but still very good) Out: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) srsly? Mario Balotelli (Manchester City) haha Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) don´t even play anymore Andrea Pirlo (Juventus) ??? Neymar (Santos) srsly? playing in the Brazilian league is like the 2. league in europe Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) The fastest player in the world on his way to the next BBQ How does the FIFA do this list? Do they play Football Manager and pick the 20 guys with the highest rating?

Also I'll never get it that they didn't give Henry the POTY award in 2004. Oh actually I do, Ronaldinho is Brazilian and was playing for Barça.
