The old enemies set to lock horns in November  England are expected to play a friendly against Germany as they begin their preparations for next year's World Cup. Another friendly will be arranged for either Friday 15 or Saturday 16 November against as yet unnamed opponents, although Australia and Argentina are believed to be the preferred options. If Uruguay win and get to Brazil they are in Pot 1, if for some reason they fail to beat Jordan then it's the Netherlands that take pot 1 seed | ||

Couldnt find an english link. Anyway this is about The UEFA secretly planning a new league for national teams. The format is yet to be considered but one possibility is to have divisions based on the FIFA world ranking. The point of this is to substitute friendly matches and test matches with games that actually matter and The UEFA are hoping this will turn into an economic súcces like the Champions League. However at this point nothing is set in stone. | ||

You could quite easily if that is the case have a; Brazil Netherlands France or Spain Netherlands France style groups :S | ||

So you can't have three European teams in the same group no? But yea, even the seeded teams like Brazil/Spain/Germany/Argentinas going to sweat during this draw haha. | ||

I know the Netherlands imploded at Euro 2012 but it would still be weird to me to see a repeat of the previous final in the group stage. | ||
