It makes us look ridiculous but out of the 3-4 candidates (when they got him) he was the best in terms of accomplishments and all that stuff but was clearly the worst choice at the moment. He had gotten fired semi-recently and is a manager who works well long term. I just wanna hide myself at this point ![]()

Tahitian league offers up 4 points for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 point for a defeat as opposed to the traditional 3-1-0 system. "We just don't want anyone to be sad," Tahiti FA director Charles Ariiotima told ESPN Brasil this week. "With this system, even if a team loses every game, they won't be on zero points at the end of the season. Football, first of all is joy."

He was 15 years the coach of Country San Marino. Biggest Successes were 1:0 against Liechtenstein (friendly match, 2004) and 1:1 Latvia at WC Quali 2001. Apart from that: 75 Losses.

According to Wikipedia, the population of San Marino is about 32,000. That's tiny. It's no surprise they lost so often.

It will depends what the referee writes in his final report of the game. I Personally think that he "knew" that it was a mistake but hadend the guts to uverturn it, and called a very, very questionable penalty for Hoffenheim a couple of minutes later to even it out. Unfortunalty they missed. 1994 it gave a regame, but we are talking about 2013 with the UEFA and their "TV reviews are the DEVIL and EVIL" attitude. What makes me kinda angry is the reaction of Leverkusen. Usually they are a nice club especially Kiesling (this guy even wrote a cooking book) but at least someone on the field or on the bench had to see it and they could go to the ref and overturn it. Or even let Hoffenheim score a goal to set it back to a 1 score game.
