In a 4-2-3-1 there would be Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Luiz Gustavo, Toni Kroos, Hoijberger (i spelled it wrong, he is 18 and kind of a Martinez with more offensive skills) and Can. In this system he would have the same problem as in Barcelona, with Martinez and Schweinsteiger playing for sure if they are healthy. in a kind of 4-1-4-1 (which switches into a 3-4-3 in the offense) he would have better chances because it kind of have a "double 8" which he could play with Kroos or Schweinsteiger (depending on where Martinez plays as CB or in the defensive midfield). This looks pretty realistic because it would explain the interest into Thiago and in the first testgames it looked like the preferred system | ||

There are some PSV jerseys in the crowd, which would frowned upon, and they cheer for the PSV goal. Eindhoven is blue-white iirc. I don't know or ever heard the chant though. | ||

And he's not really an oldie, oldies are players like pele or di stephano not even considering legends like dixie dean or silvio piola who lived more than a century ago, lol. | ||

If you put him in Xavi's role, he's going to be average because he doesn't have the discipline needed for that kind of role, and he doesn't really like to defend. His best position is playmaker behind a 9. He's at his best when he doesn't need to defend too much and when he has many passing solutions (which he can exploit really well thanks to his technical skills) and when he can have the freedom to shoot at the goal and do solo moves. In Barcelona, I doubt he can play at this position as long as Iniesta is there, and I doubt they will put him to replace Xavi as he has never been good in this position (I would put Dos Santos there, or buy Veratti  ).In Bayern he would fit nice but still would have to face a tough competition: Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Müller (I'm not sure if he's still used like this, but still an indirect competitor). Maybe Pep wants to change their 4-3-3 but if he doesn't, I don't see him play Thiago without making big ennemies in the team :s Manchester United would be a nice place to go for him as he needs stability and time on the field. But on the other side there is Guardiola so... edit: shit I even forgot Gotze in the list | ||
