When this guy speaks it's time to shut up and listen.Btw I don't think the EPL being the best league means the english players have to be equally as good. Because they aren't and haven't been for a while | ||

Then look at a country like England who has a good league but their national team is pretty bad... | ||

I know for a fact that with a lot of German clubs at least it works like this: Adidas will pay X mio € to the club and sponsor it. The club only wears their gear and adidas is treated like any other sponsor. Shirts and shit will be sold by adidas with the club getting a margin (which is usually not very high, hamburg for example earns around 15 euros per shirt sold, for a 90 euro shirt) rest goes to adidas. I am fairly sure that the principle is the same with all the other clubs only that the sponsorship money is higher. What I am getting at is the party who directly earns the most out of the Bale transfer is adidas and not RM. | ||

But the more shirts that are sold the larger the sponsorship deal with the clothing company will be next time around. Just as the more viewers a club gets for their games on TV the larger their TV contract is worth next negotiation go around. | ||

Let's compare how many cl's and uefa's each league has won over the last 10 or 15 years. Then let's see the win % between teams of the two leagues. Finally let's see in which the best football players are(messi, cristiano etc). Also, let's not forget how notoriously bad PL's mid teams are in europe, while atletico, valencia, sociedad, sevilla and villareal have all taken turns in the last 15 years dominating continental cups. I mean, Bilbao qualified over ManU of all teams last season, lmao. Then the english complain about their national team not achieving anything, well duh, you are overhyping them as hell, just like your league. | ||
