Not many English teams do have Director of Football, Chelsea have a chief executive who deals with the transfers but is more a businessman, and then we have a guy who is Roman's middle man, but he is retard xD No Chelsea fan talks of him as he has like 0 experience!

Thanks, so I assume Brendan Rogers is responsible for the transfer than at Liverpool? Certainly doing a fine job at that.

Michael Emenalo is a currently technical director at Chelsea Sigh makes me cringe every time xD his biggest thing he has done in football was manage a US ladies football team...and he is "technical" director at Chelsea, lol >.< Was the main reason of some of our Managers getting sacked and 1 of the BIG points as to why Rafaaaaaa Benitezzzzz was hired, so you can imagine why every Chelsea fan has 0 time for him

He was a scout for us, im guessing for Africa/America area where he has played/coached trying find us talent. Then when Avram Grant took over he made him assistant coach? Why i do not know. Then after that turn of events and the new guy come in (was Scolari after that) he was somehow moved from Assistant coach to Director of Football 0.O People seem to think he is a very good "Yes man" to Mr Abramovich and that's why he is here, but having been in the job for 5 years now and the evolution of the talent pool we have at Chelsea now, im guessing Mr Abramovich seems to think he is doing a good job >.< So in other words, being in the right place at the right time for Emanalo.

Chelsea has done pretty well in the transfer market and they've gobbled up loads of young talent as well, they look great now and far into the future. It helps to have gobs of money yes, but I can't say that I'd rock the boat right now even if it is something as trivial as an incompetent "yes man" being removed - I wouldn't change anything about the Blues today. I wouldn't have sacked Di Mateo that early, but that's a Roman thing.

I didn't have anything against Benitez at all. I think he did fantastically given how hard his task was and how hard he was constantly pressured by fans and press.

QPR choice of team and lack of going after it sums up his management style (in England of course). When it doesn't work there is no plan B, and he doesn't even bring the big guns off the bench until to late. Thus Liverpool when they topped the league at Christmas in 2005? i think it was, went to pile of rubble losing 4-1 to Middlesborough who were relegated that season? (might of been the next) etcetc I do rate Rafaaaaaa as manager of course, anyone who can take a pile of piss Liverpool team and make them hard to beat and win the champions league is a pretty good manager lol. Also winning La Liga whilst not being in charge of Real Madrid of Barcelona again is a good feat. He needs to do something big with Napoli now though, he had his warm up managing Chelsea last season, lets see if he can do something like Liverpool this time. No reason why he shouldn't though, DAMN good squad Napoli have now

David Luiz claims he rejected the chance to join Barcelona this summer "There was an official offer [from Barcelona], but I decided to stay at Chelsea," Luiz told Gazeta Esportiva. "I am happy to play for a big club and be in the national team to represent my country."

Barça had the chance to sign him for like 8M before Madrid did, and he wanted to join, too bad we can't do good business to save our lives ![]()

For 8M it would have been a good deal though, but that's not the biggest regret I'll have...

Barca doesn't play with a traditional number 10, and I don't think ozil has the workrate to be in a three man midfield that barca uses. On the right? Maybe, but tbh i'd much rather have pedro or alexis there because ozil isn't as good of a goalscorer.
