This kind of game always adds some special pressure on the player who kicks the penalty...
Reminds me of a Barça-Sevilla 2 years ago where there was 1-1 and a last minute penalty kick missed by Messi.

Pedro shouldn't have taken that ball though, Messi was in a better position behind him .

Also that penalty was kinda weak. Didn't see the rep but it didn't look clear to me on first sight.

It was not a penalty, sorry. I like Barca too but this was really bad. And daSilvaz, ref was bad on both parts, he didn't clearly favor one team above the other.

You cannot push a player from behind period. This would have been a foul outside the box, so it's a penalty.

Not terribly pleased about this one. For all the talk of Eriksen's prodigious talent, no big clubs have gone in for him. He's a step down from Willian at the very least. Personally I would prefer Hernanes from Lazio. Eriksen is quite picky or he would already be in Leverkusen. He wants his new club to be a step up in prestige. I don't know if Tottenham are a step up in his opinion, unlike Ajax they don't play CL. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/13/christian-eriksen-tottenham-move-ajax Living in London and playing in the Premier League are pretty big factors as well. I just don't know if he's good enough. Looking at the other teams gunning for top 4, Eriksen would need to be on par with Rooney, Silva, Cazorla, and all 15 of Chelsea's attacking midfielders. I'd much prefer a guy like Hernanes who has proven himself in a difficult league. Actually, the best option is to play Lamela in the middle and bring in Hulk to play on the right, but Zenit say he isn't for sale. I guess Eriksen is more eager to prove himself in a top league after what happened earlier in the transfer window. Eriksen basically said he wants to go to Dortmund, but Klopp preferred Mkhitaryan.

News Juan Mata will stay at Chelsea despite interest from Tottenham, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid The Daily Mail suggests Atletico Madrid want to take Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa on loan. Chelsea will sign Samuel Eto'o today on a stunning £7million one-year deal after admitting defeat in their pursuit of Wayne Rooney Roma have confirmed that Tottenham are to sign Argentine winger Erik Lamela in a deal which could be worth up to £30m Everton's Leighton Baines wants a move to Manchester United. Tottenham are lining up a shock move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to the Daily Mirror The Sun claims Everton defender Leighton Baines has pleaded with the club to let him join Manchester United. Roma have moved to offset the anticipated sale of Erik Lamela by confirming the signing Fiorentina player Adem Ljajic for €11million. Ajax have given Tottenham permission to talk to star midfielder Christian Eriksen. ProSport in Romania are reporting that Udinese player Gabriel Torje is set to reject offers from Schalke, Rennes and Leeds in favour of a move to Hamburg Leighton Baines being well backed to join Manchester United with that deal now 5/6, while money has also been coming for Tottenham to sign Christian Eriksen, prompting us to cut the odds to 1/2. Liverpool are odds-on (2/5) to sign Andriy Yarmolenko from Dynamo Kyiv, with Arsenal out to 16/1 for the Ukrainian forward. Galatasaray admit Burak Yilmaz can leave for Lazio - but only if the Serie A outfit meet their valuation for the striker
