Get that shit out of here. Nobody wants to see that.

the Curry trade was sarcasm, lol
So you think all the shots he took and missed were worse than the ones he passed on?
Perhaps it's some variation of the following: The Spurs aren't as physically powerful as the Pacers, but they are running a smart defense. It's possible that whereas the objective to James was clear in the Pacers series, match their physicality, he's trying to figure out or outsmart the Spurs defense which is leading to passivity. He's trying to solve the puzzle when he should be cutting the Gordian knot.

Lol, this isn't rocket science. The Spurs are shutting him down inside and letting him take wide open long jumpers. Leonard and Green have been slacking off him a good 5+ feet. Lebron's just throwing up bricks because he's a mental midget who chokes on the big stage.

This argument has gone around the same circle like 3 times in the last 2 pages.

I was hoping Karl goes over to the clippers.

but i will say, this man should be a head coach. He has put in more than enough time and anyone he has ever coached has spoken highly of him. He has been instrumental in the growth of Paul George and Lance Stephenson. I will be happy for him when he gets a HC gig, but will be sad to see him go.

He isn't going anywhere unless its to a contender, and since Indiana is one of the best contenders right now, theres very few jobs he will actually leave for. Lets be honest, he probably asked for 10x the money Jason Kidd wanted.

I'm sure that Maurice Cheeks is just a caretaker until a better coach like George Karl or Lionel Hollins becomes available.
...Fuck.

none of those coaches are ever going to touch Detroit, you'd be better off hoping for Scott Skiles or Vinny Del Negro

I'm not big on the Kidd pick-up. For starters there is a good chance Doc Rivers is going on the market (tho the nets may not want to wait that long).
More importantly, the Nets are relying on assisent Lawrence Frank to basically teach Kidd how to be a proper coach while he's already a coach. Trial through fire wouldn't excite me if I was a Nets fan and it calls into question the authority of Kidd as the head coach on the team if he's basically being taught how to do it on the side. Really think he should have been an assistant first like seemingly 95% of other coaches.

He was cleared to play the 2nd half of the last game but didn't because it was a blowout so I doubt it's that serious.

If spurs win the Daniel Green probably finals mvp. Btw at the lebron haters you guys dont realize lebron is prob the greatest athlete to walk this planet.

Him or Kawhi most deserving, at least so far, but I could see Timmy getting it as a "lifetime achivement" type thing. Assuming ofc that they all play the way they have/Timmy doesn't turn his game up a notch.

Nets were my favorite team back in their Kidd days (I actually flew out to New Jersey to see the Nets play at home) so I love that he is gonna coach them. Its even cooler for me that he will have Lawrence Frank there with him.
Also funny thing I saw, Kidd played for the Mavs, the Knicks, retired, and became a head coach all before Derrick Rose played a game. And Kidd might even coach a game before Rose plays one.

Which makes the fact that he isn't dominating all that easier to criticize.
No one questions his athletic ability. One does have to question how someone with that much athletic talent can be so ineffective in the finals though.
In the end, who cares how great of an athlete he is if he isn't winning?

Must say, watching Popovich press conferences are absolutely hillarious

2 things.
- Apparently Spo is considering starting Miller. Potentially dropping Haslem, which is a line-up they've used before. Not sure what I think of this. He is nice as a spark off the bench and his defense could let the Spurs get off to a good start.
- NBA considering the review of judgement calls for the first time when it comes to charges/blocks in the final 2min. This is a huge potential change. http://www.nba.com/2013/news/06/12/committee-consider-review-blocks-charges.ap/index.html

The decision on reviews should be taken away from refs on the floor. There should be an external ref that has constant/immediate access to the feed like in college football, so they can quickly give decisions to the refs on the floor.
