Because the Canucks have been a dirty, whiney team, and I am pretty sure that that tone was set by AV.

And Malkin had to put the cherry on top with one of his Malkin turnover specials with like 15 seconds left in the period to give up a chance. They got their shit together in an impressive fashion for sure

On an unrelated note: man, I wish he beat em' Bears because the Leafs versus Rangers would have been so much more fun. The East is just meh.. At least I'm enjoying the series out West!

I thought Chicago would run the same as pit but Detriot is making them look bad 2 games in a row now.

I honestly don't see the Bruins beating the Pens. But that remains to be seen. It should be an exciting series unless something crazy happens and NY or Ottawa make miracle come backs/upsets.

Pens D is too bad and they don't have a goalie playing at that higher level (Vokoun seems solid but not THAT solid) to mask it. Bruins have the D, the goalie, and a decent offense to tear them a new one. Boston cann't score 5 goals in a hockey game. Thats what you need to beat Pittsburgh on average. Pitts has not had great D or goaltending all year. They just put 5-spots on the board and see if thats good enough. Usally it is.

I think the fact that the bruins haven't had a war in the second round helps their chances, but the Pens aren't going to lose four games by 2-1, and they are showing right now that a great goalie isn't enough to beat them. The Bruins have a chance if they can change the way the pens play, but if they can't do that then I think the series will look a lot like this sens one.
