It doesn't seem right, when you are able to deadlift 176kg 7 times. Your back should be easily able to do more than 5 reps and 1 set of pullups. Maybe I'm missing a point here.
Impressive to me are your deadlifts and overhead press 'scores'. Overheadpress >70kg is strong
Having pulled that deadlift earlier in the workout fatigues his back. Follow that up with a set of chinups, then a set of pullups, at over 100kg BW and that seems like a pretty taxing back workout to me, especially for someone training towards a strength goal rather than a size one.

100 kg clean, form bad as hell probably but I still have this hugeass grin on my face
Video footage of epicness will be posted in oly thread to be picked apart by experts

Gyms are full in the evening, and I like to have my evenings wide open. So since I work full-time and cannot lift that late anymore, I just try to get it done before work. Doesn't work all the time, but I'm getting used to it.
@Naruto I am 110kg bw, without wanting to sound cocky, but show me someone you know that can do 9 Chin Ups at that bodyweight I can do 10-11 if I do them before Deadlifts, Squats and Presses.
The 5 Pull Ups were just for warm up, waiting for the Squat Rack.
One day a week I just work towards one max set in each lift. I obviously do more sets of any posted exercise on other days. Today was strictly an intensity day, not volume.

I want to see a 110kg decaf :D

It doesn't matter if I can show you someone who can do it, because I easily could, but they spend their life in the gym. I didn't mean to offend you, I was just assuming you are a "NORMAL" guy like me with like 75kg haha^^ sorry. 110 is beast! And yeah, didn't really take into account that your back is so worn out from the other sets !

I didn't feel offended, no worries. I am just porud of my Chin Ups
Need to get back to 100kg though, 110kg is too much

Your progress is unreal, good fucking job. Never saw it before. I still think your aim of 100kg on 1.81 is too much. If you were to be 93kg that would still be big I think. I have huge respect for losing so much weight and working out hard! Hope you get to your goal
|
Thank you very much. I think around 90-95kg would be the number where I would probably look best. But weight control is a huge task for me and I'm trying to be realistic. One goal at a time. Need to get down to around 100kg again first. And maybe sometime later I'll try to do the next step. I wouldn't mind to be ripped once in my life.

Malinor: I seem to have missed the post with the images. Let me add my HOLY WTF BBQ THIS IS BATSHIT INSANE.
Is the loose skin tightening up with time? Also are you planning on going for a fresh deadlift PR anytime soon?
@NarutO: It has something to do with perspective. I'm about 185cm and around 93kg but I feel small at the moment (at least compared when I was nearing 100kg bw. Even then I was among the smaller guys in my gym (but that gym is bad for perspective since some guys there are around 170kg @ 2.10m with a 6pack lol).

Maybe the skin will get better a little bit over time, but completely is unlikey. I have been fat for too long, it's basically permanent. It will require surgery, but honestly at the moment I have more important things to focus on.
Deadlift PR won't happen anytime soon. I just like my steady progress at the moment. But I really want to pull 250kg at the end of the year. Besides, I do all deadlifting in weightlifting shoes at the moment (to focus on the bottom part of the movement), I guess 4-6weeks before a possible PR try I will lose the shoes and lift barefoot again (which means higher numbers). So it has to be planned pretty far in advance.

I see.
I wouldn't mind pulling the same and as you said, it needs some serious planning. I think my best move would to be a run of Smolov followed by Coan-Philippi but that requires some serious eating and prehab work.

Did 3x5 strict chin ups after a full oly workout this week, back and arms were pretty exhausted

Just curious, what happened to your plans to be a 105kg lifter?

Still is long term. I've bulked up to ~102 and lifts have gotten a lot better (if not heavier at least far more consistent at heavier weights). Want to cut down to ~95-96 for a) summer rugby (7's is a lot more sprinting and requires coniditioning...it will be easier to move around at a lighter weight), b) wanna put up at least a 300kg total at nationals in the 94 class before i bulk back up. Only ~10 people have done that this year. c) dem aesthetics. also i feel better eating healthy.

Whenever I hear about a guy over 130kg and having a sixpack I imagine Konstantinovs: + Show Spoiler +
But he is "only" 140kg and 1.91m. Still looking pretty fucking badass if you ask me

Spoilered because of the size.

Hafþór Júlíus, going to do it big in the strongman events. It took quite a while to stop staring when he came into the house lol.
