You are plenty big to play WO in high school. I agree with Decaf, your biggest issue will be skills and agility/speed. Also standards for high school football are very very varied across the US.


I'm going to a Junior college in California, don't know how it compares to high school level but I guess similar or slightly better.

Workout question: I've never really done deadlifts before, so the 365x3 was just trying out how far I could go yesterday, but today my lower back and abs are killing me ( not injury pain, post workout soreness). Is it supposed to hit back/abs more than legs?


Nope, even though it depends a little on the exact way you're doing it.
Deadlifting does however require a lot of work from your lower back muscles & abs.
When tired and going for my max weight, right after putting the BB down I sometimes feel muscular pain (similar to cramps), so what you're feeling isn't unusual.

Today's workout:

BB Squat: 100kg x 5-5-5 and 110kg x 5.
FS: 65kg x 5-5-5 (+5kg)

+30kg from last time on BB Squat. Muscle memory is too good.

250g chicken
200g of those.. whatever they're called, tiny beans.

One of the many meals I eat a day ^_^ got back up to 80kg clothless last night, was due to full stomach though but still, a good milestone again nontheless.

Peas is the right word, thanks :-D I knew the word, but I didn't.. but now I do ~_+!
And no! It's only 4° C outside :-( and my window's open.

Also added in 35g of peanuts and 400ml of whole milk for the fats and extra kcal.
The meal I took was quite lean, unnecessarily so.

It's pretty cheap:

Rice/pasta.. 60 cents per kilogram
chicken.. 6 euro per kilogram
Frozen meat/fish ~4-6 euro per kilogram
Whole milk -> 50 cents for 650kcal 33g protein 45g carbs 35g fat.
frozen vegetables are really cheap too.
and then there's like 500g peanuts for like 2 euro.
tons of eggs for no money at all.
oatmeal, 500g for 50 cents

Pork isn't really recommendable as main meat source, the proteins from pork aren't all that useful compared to say chicken, milk, eggs or beef. And it's unhealthy in big amounts too, and im not talking about the fats.

There's a lot of research on it, try googling some ^^ Beef has the same kcal as pork and if much much better.

i made chicken stew. we have a "slow cooker" which is like an electric heating dish that you plug into the wall and just leave on all night. i dumped in:

1.5 litre boiling water with 4 chicken stock cubes
500g frozen chopped onion
500g frozen chopped mushroom
1kg frozen chopped carrot
700g? chicken breast
few squirts of tomato puree

left it on overnight, the next day it was amazing. the chicken just crumbles to the touch. i recommend putting a few potatoes in with it though, its not very filling!
