I don't buy reusable water bottles, because I forget them someplace within a week. That isn't at all specific to the gym though - in fact I think I've lost fewer of them there than I have any other place. The main culprit is definitely leaving them in classes.

Other than that, I don't think I've left anything at the gym. Either have nothing with me but my shoes when I'm there or else I have an entire bag of crap (extra shoes, straps, log book, stopwatch, foam roller, water, chalk, belt, sweatshirt, jump rope, camera, etc.) depending on the workout. In the first case, there's nothing to forget (can't walk home barefoot...) or there's so much that I can't miss it.

Nice part about lifting in a catholic high school, anything I leave will be there the next day. Left an mp3 player there for like a week and nobody touched it lol
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Lol. I lift at a Christian high school and if you leave an mp3 player there for a few hours it will be gone. Then again, it is in a bad part of town.

Focusing on form in squats costs me about 20kg. Hopefully it'll earn interest.

Did 5 chinups today, as opposed to last time when I managed 2. Coming back pretty quickly.

I thought it's gonna be terrible, but it was... well, decent. Had less power so did lower weights but decided to put everything I've got to maintain perfect form and not rush any exercise. And I actually feel better now. Plus had the oppourtunity to try out my home-made straps while doing shrugs. xD

Do them every day!

When I started about 5 months ago I could only do like 1... Literally, I had to do like 80lbs weight assisted pull ups. It was terrible.

Now I can easily bang out 12-15 pull ups. Did 10 wide grip pull ups two days ago.

I usually just do as many pullups as I can do and then follow up with negatives.

6 months ago I was at 12 reps too, then I hurt both my arms and gained 14 of weight :p

I wouldn't advice anyone to do chinups every day though.

I think it's pretty damn hard to over train your upper back. I tend to aim for ever other day.

You can do a lot of Chin Ups and Pull Ups without it being a problem in my experience. Surprisingly they are not that hard to recover from.

Unless you're obese or adding a lot of extra weight, pulls/chins don't put that much pressure on your elbows imo

I believe he is refering to the part of your arm opposite your elbow. The part of your arm where doctors will draw blood for a blood test. Whenever I do chinups or pullups those muscles hurt very much so I can relate to what he is saying.

I've been doing pullups 5 days a week for almost 6 months now. Up to 23 bw pullups at BW of 204. You will have some forearm problems if you do them enough, so you have to do soft tissue work regularly.

For those of you familiar with 5/3/1... The plan is to break my gym days down into shoulders, legs, chest and back with a focus around OHP, squats, bench and deads...

Since I'm only supplementing those with 2 other lifts on each day, does it make sense to add a 5th day just for arms?

Any suggestions for how to structure such a day?
