Keep the intensity high and volume low, near max box jumps, 50m sprints, foot work, lower rep higher weight squats, etc. Or what I used to do just say fuck it and accept being sore all the time :-)

Go to the gym in the morning, -4 degrees celcius, 5km bike in freezing weather. (cardio)
Go to the gym in the evening same day, -4 degrees celcius, 5km bike in freezing weather. (lifts)
Go to the gym the next day in the morning, -3 degrees celcius, 5km bike in freezing weather. (cardio)

Whelp, after 2+ years of no barbell squatting, I managed to get 315x8 and 365x6 with no knee pain! I am ecstatically exhausted and will now smoke an excessive amount of marijuana.

You might still get it back. I've left stuff at the gym and it's been handed in to reception.

In fact, the only thing that I've ever left at the gym and not gotten back was my log book. But I can totally understand why someone would want my log book.

I don't use a belt, but if I did I'm sure I'd have lost a few by now. I think I've gone through about 6 pairs of straps in 4 and a half years lol, all from leaving them at the gym.

You remember when we were doing the SNP? It was insane how soreless I was, I felt fucking fresh every day and had these fucking great energy spikes when I was at the gym or playing a sport.

Ur tired, you just wanna leave and go shower. I left my shorts at the gym the other day after showering, just left them hanging on a hook by the showers. Or you're doing cardio and you just leave it at the machine. Shit happens unfortunately. But I got my shorts back, heauheauehauehuaheae.

Lol I've forgotten just about everything there is to forget after practice. I left my 300$ custom made Hapkido gi from Korea with tapout shorts and complete sparring equipment on the subway, that was a very sad day.. I guess someone really needed a battle gi with my name in hangul on it.
Several times I've walked home in my gym shoes after lifting just because I forgot I had them on.

You are just completely drained mentally. Really you should be able to plead temporary insanity if you fuck up post-workout

I got my powerlfiting belt/wraps/squat shoes from usa, so if I lose them it takes more than a month to replace them. As such, never lost them.

I'm done with cutting, I dont think I can get stronger losing more weight as of now; No six pack, but the hint of it and enough room to gain more weight/strength in my weight class at 77,5kg now (from 81, room up to 83). My press is stalled, my leg power is almost if not equal as when I was 81 and my back is way stronger than before; will pull 250-260 within 3 weeks so I'm really satisfied.

But I'm done with being hungry, I think I can do even more in the gym with more food (and carbs), looking foward to it. I have no doubt I can total 640 or smth by april (next meet), which will be really cool. 85kg away from the clean powerlifting record, in 2 years of training :D
