Getting fat is easy; eat delicious things until you're so full they become disgusting. Or as lck puts it, "I don't stop eating when I'm full. The meal is not over when I'm full. The meal is over when I hate myself."

So yesterday at the gym every joint and muscle ache I've ever had hurt at the same time (spent entire last week drinking, barley eating/cleaning myself)
First squat with 100kg felt heavy as fuck, so I just kept doing triples till I felt ok to add 10kg and did that up to 140kg. Light bench felt ok, was just scared to break something. Did tons of stretching and mobility work afterwards.
Salmon was in discount, so I bought 6 pounds and cooked for the week. Ate around 2 pouds till I couldn't eat more (first time in years that this happens to me)
Slept over 10 hours, never felt better.
TLDR: Fish oil is the shit. Mobility WOD drills are the shit aswell.

That's what happens when you eat barley.

Ah. I generally don't like potatoes and bread...

Fortunately you don't need potatoes and bread to get above 135 & 7%.

Seriously. I can't even comprehend how to weigh that little. Although I've been honing my ability to smash 2000 calorie meals for the past 5 years.

I can't even comprehend eating a 2000 calorie meal :') I need to eat wayy more. I can do chin ups with 55 lbs tho, so there's that. Anyway, I wanted to say I got my motivation back^^ I switched programs and now it doesn't feel like I'm wasting time anymore and I have a clearer goal. I'm thinking about quiting my 2nd major in physics as well. I like it and all, but not enough to spend 20 hours a week on next to 40 hours of math. I'd rather see my girlfriend, go out with friends and be less stressed :/

Maybe its a bit dirty but 2000 cals is like only 2 and and half burgers.
|
Weighed in at 197 today, but thats not fasted. thats still the highest ive ever been. Probably going to hit 200 lbs on the scale before i hit 200 lb bench at the rate i'm going. Bench is probably still a month away from 200.
Progress still great on all lifts. Shoulders are beginning to bother me, so im taking out dips and doing more rows. mobility going decently too, want to get light back squats going before the end of october.

Those are some damn big burgers.

I've got a pretty small appetite, one of my flatmates can eat like 6000 calories in a sitting and be hungry a couple of hours later, but I feel full after about 1000 in a sitting. If you've got a small appetite you just have to eat regularly to make up for it. Time spent not eating when you're hungry is lost gains.

Well my squat rack came today, bench is coming tomorrow, and I hit my school's gym. They don't have a proper place to squat (the rack is set WAY too high, even though I'm short I don't think most high school kids should have the rack set to a place that's above my traps, and there was no way to adjust it).
Ran a mile (had to for gym), ran a 50 yd dash, and then did 3x8 dips, 3x8 pull ups, 3x5 OHP, and 3x5 bench (first time benching). I did some other stuff (mostly just screwing around cause I'm not really starting seriously for SS until next week once my squat rack is built) but I'm pretty exhausted.

It's part of the training
I've gone from 125 lbs to 150lbs and it's a HUGE difference - muscles are made in the kitchen
I eat a lot of caloric dense foods like oreo milkshakes and stuff to pack out the gaps inbetween the "healthy meals"
Also a very demanding program will naturally make you more hungry too

I could probably eat like 15,000 calories a day if i wouldnt get super fat off it.

If you don't have any aversion to milk, the simplest and easiest way to add calories is drinking whole milk all day (GOMAD). If you don't get sick from lactose intolerance there's no excuse to not gain weight. It's dirt cheap and you just drink a glass any opportunity you get. You can mix protein powder in too if you want but it's just so easy to drink at least half a gallon of whole milk a day. That's 1000+ calories to your daily without any effort.

Calories come from all the fat. Dirty baaallkkin.
I'm lactose intolerant but go ape whenever flavoured milk is on sale. Bloody asshole vs gains. It's an easy decision for me.

I do have an aversion to milk

Make food available to you. You know how they say "if you're dieting don't have high calorie food lying around"
Well embrace it, have high calorie food lying around. I eat the most when I make a bunch of (insert delicious food here)
Then I put it in the fridge. Then when I"m sitting there and get at all hungry I'll go in the fridge, see it, eat it, profit.
|
Just make a nutrition plan and stick to it. Eating is necessary for lifting, so treat is as an obligation rather than "let's see if I'm in the mood for it".
|
Eating is just a fucking bitch, either way you look at it. Just ate 1500~calories and I sure as hell can eat another 2k in two hours time if I don't stop myself.
I'll get insoles for me shoes soon, maybe that will help my legs get better. I just so want to squat again, it is killing me. At least my Pull-Up Bar with my attached Gymnastic Rings at home are keeping me occupied. Best 220€ I've eveer spend.
