Joseph Barton @Joey7Barton 4m Anybody who isn't copying what happening at Bayern Munich right now, on an off the pitch, is already playing catch up. This is the club now
Interesting opinion... I'd say so. Bayern aren't even playing football anymore, they are playing basketball. Perfect pick and roll by Mueller and Robben: ![[image loading]](http://i.minus.com/ibb0fWZYbAY8fR.gif) i always have to laugh when i watch that :D but wouldnt it be a foul even in basketball? because you have to stand still while blocking and not body checking /running someone over?
yes

The Super Cup will be Basel v Bayern, ultimate showdown of teams called FCB!

If Bayern wins the final Heynckes will set the unbreakable record of winning the Champions League twice and both times not getting a new contract for the next season.

i guess it'll take until tomorrow to realize what happened tonight.

Well put, impressive discipline all across the board. I haven't seen Ribery, Gomez and Robben even once stay in front of the ball, they always ran back, and forth, I was wondering when their batteries would run out, but in the 85th minute they still pressed onward full speed. Score was inflated a bit by bad reffing I think, but Barca just had nothing to say. 2 shots on goal aren't all that many.
Looking forward to tomorrow ^^

if heynckes wins the triple, pep can only lose next season lol, still surprised they revealed the guardiola deal while Bayern was going super strong, he even stated that he doesn't necessarily retire after his 2 year contract ends, although they probably had to act fast, wasn't chelsea offering Pop like 30 Million/year?
I wonder of Neuer fell asleep during the game.

There was one time where Barca got the ball in the Bayern area, and as the camera panned to show the goal, you could see Neuer getting up off the ground.

Holy shit we got mauled today xD
Do you guys think those hands by Piqué and Alexis were penalties? I'm not sure myself, they call them in spain ez tho.
GG Bayern. Will root for you against Madrid, against you versus Dortmund.

he's used to it. there's always the chance to offer a coffee or playing the ball with some players warming up behind his goal.

I think the first situation was a pretty clear penalty. The second situation (with the header) wasn't a penalty imo. He gets the ball to his hand from 1m distance while in the air. i don't think you can give a penalty for that in such a big game.

If the score stays the same, I see them running out of steam at 65-70mins and barca getting in one. We'll see. posted at half time. gold, just gold.

Missed one but the other i saw (dunno which) was pretty clear penalty. arm extends towards ball, away from body, unnatural movement etc.
anyways, impressive performance all around. barca got dominated in offense and defense despite 66% possession. amaziiiiing game by müller and evrybody was running so damn much.
i didnt expect that at all and i dont know how messis condition is but it was another impressive game after a series of impressive game recently.
i think play for player there is no team in the world that can keep up with bayerns class atm. so many excellent players just waiting outside to come in and shine with world+ class guys on the field. ofc translating that to success is a different story but recently it shows.

Too bad the referee was god awful all game long. 3 illegal goals, at least one clear hand and so on, I'd say 2-0 would reflect the actual match better. 2 illegal goals imo. But yeah, 2-0 would be fair. But it has to be said Barca had almost no scoring chances. How many shots on goal was it? 2?
Yeah, the only one I'd say played well out of Barcas attacking players is Alexis. Messi is terribly out of shape and lost so many balls, plus he was walking all game long. Also, you can't count on Pedro to break Bayern's defense at all. In spite of this, I understand why Tito put Alexis and Pedro there, as they do an excellent pressure and defensive work, but it no use when you get scored every other corner.
edit: Actually Messi was the player that ran the least out of all (7.409m compared to Xavis 11.893, that's 4.5 km difference, holy shit)

Amazing game &scoreline by Bayern. Ref had a really bad day though, but luckily it evened out in the end. If he would have gotten his decisions correct, it would have probably been 3/4-0 Bayern + red card for Barca, with 2/3 goal being called back but 2 penalties given instead.

lol barcelona.
well you cant win games where you dont try to score goals, but the referees were god damn terrible the whole game, lol.
edit: btw dont be hypocrites only mention the offside goal and müllers body check. there were 2 clear penalties for munich in the first ~30 minutes. in the end its a fair result, given that barcelona didnt do anything the whole game.

müllers interview in german televison was awesome btw. he said that he does not care for some low level teams and only plays football when he is against barcelona :D
you just have to love this guys, lol.

Bayern Munih vs Dortmund finals with Dortmund winning would be the best scenerio right now.
