Wow you guys are big haters. How is it even possible to think like that. The obvious way to see what happened vs PSG is that messi forcefully dragged his team to victory even when he could barely walk.
In your position I would be shitting my pants thinking of his 100% condition.

So your argument basically resorts to "omg he didn't win absolutely all competitions he has being so let's criticize on that, huehue11!1!1"
I think from what we witnessed over the years we can safely assume that no one and nothing can stop a on form messi.

I think Real has the advantage over Dortmund, but I'm very excited to see how much the former has improved since the group stage. Barca vs Bayern I think is anyone's game.
Also lol @ you guys getting trolled by Steveling.

Yeah,
If I was going to pick my ideal matchups this would be it. Bayern is so bogie for RM I'd have a hard time betting against them.
Now its completely open. Although I'd give Madrid an edge since I have a hard time figuring out what kind of Dortmund will show up.

yea I basically hold madrid to be overall title favourites now, even though I think h2h between them and bayern/barca is really even. (maybe a sliiight real>barca>bayern>real thing going for me though.) that because they are definitely the team with the best chance at reaching the finals. but then dortmund is really good.
but more than anything I think these matches are the most entertaining choice. bayern-barcelona is huge and hasn't occurred for a good while, and the group stage matches between real madrid and dortmund showcased some of the best football in recent memory.
and hell I think real and bayern are likely candidates for the final and the most deserving teams in terms of team quality relative to success over the last 4-5 years. would love for that to happen.
and if it doesn't, we either get a classico for cl final, which would be hilarious, or we get underdog and super entertaining perfect team-model dortmund. been a while since I thought all 4 semi finalists were this perfect.

i was wating for bayern barca. i think barca is better, but bayern can win. this game will not be decided by corners I guess. its gonna be so cool to see Messi and Co go up against our lovely bavarian team! Guardiola will have some special interest in these 2 games too.

Yeah everyone agrees on that. Finally no chelsea-like team.

kinda sucks to have barca and bayern face off, because they are most likely better than both other semi finalists.

Real Madrid > Barca this season. Madrid are at their best without the ball.

Yeah they had a rough start of the season but they are solid right now.
Dortmund play is pretty clean too, this will be good games.
And as for Bayern-Barça, I do believe Bayern will take it. They can focus 100% on champion's league since they already won the ligue title and they have a good defensive end...... and barça killed my poor PSG .

I don't think focus is going to be a problem for any of the teams left... Dortmund will have no problem securing CL spot, Bayern is champion. Same situation in Spain. Barca is champion as well (even if it's not official yet) and Real Madrid has their CL spot secured as well.
Anyway, great matches!

I'm counting the days :D this will be sooooooooooo epic (one way or another ).

I think the winner of Barca vs. Bayern will take the whole thing. Even if its Barca-Real in the finals, I think Barca will get their shit together and proceed to win.
|
Everyone is so excited for these games so they'll probably disappoint.
|
Real are the favourites vs Dortmund, if Dortmund plays like they did vs Malaga they won't stand a chance. Of course Dortmund beat them in the groupstage and achieved a draw in Madrid, but Madrid was in a slump at that point. They are stronger now. I'm still hoping for an upset though
As for Bayern vs Barca, I think it will come down to how fit Messi will be. Bayern is also used to play with a lot of ball possession so it will be interesting to see how they are able to adjust. I'm hoping for a Barca win, but it's really hard to predict how those two games will turn out.

For a change all the teams in the semis actually deserve to be there. And any of the could potentially win it - dortmund perhaps the underdogs but hell, anything can happen. If I were a gambling man I'd bet on RM though.
