Deadlift: 220kg 5reps without belt just chalk
3reps 1handed shoulderpress dumbell 40kg.
Squats 200kg 4reps without belt.

Things are getting much better now!

Been a while since I've updated my progress. In the past two weeks I've been maxing my snatch, cnj and squat.

Snatch:
Previous PR: 72.5 -> 75

Cnj:
Previous PR: 82.5 -> 87.5

Squat:
Previous PR: 98 -> 100

congrats decaf, this sub forum is the best support group ever. Plz quit doing rugby and all that silly cardio stuff and commit to weightlifting :p.

Squat: 152.5kgx3x10
Bench: 115kgx3x10

Both are PR's in terms of weight/rep/sets combo. I'm getting lean as shit aswell, I've made some changes on my diet which seem to been working wonders. Mental aspect is important aswell.

By november I won't just win my weight class, I wanna be the strongest motherfucker by wilks. I'll prolly need better 600 total or better to do that.

Haha too addicted to rugby to ever quit. Something special about knocking the shit out of people and scoring and sharing beers I could never give up even if it hurts my weight lifting.

I still can't believe I made 95kg clean lol
Gym at my uncle's place only had 2.5kg plates so I was going for a 14lb PR for the day. I don't even know how I do it, my body just gets under the bar
Need to get my strength up though. My clean is getting closer to my front squat.

I think I was a little ambitious jumping in to weighted dips at 55lb last week for being off for awhile. Did 3x5 then and also with 57.5lb on Friday but last night at 60lb I definitely have that collarbone pain everyone's been talking about on their dips Probably need to work up more gradually, the bummer is my muscles can do it but that doesn't count for much if the structures that support can't.

Two things, one good, one bad:

Bad: didn't take care of my callouses and didn't use chalk for snatch/c&j (didn't think I would need it since I was working with very light weights, working on technique... but the humid ass gym I work out in... all dat friction led to both calluses below my pinky fingers to be totally ripped)

Good: Was able to take 2 full days off after 5 consecutive days of training. Added 2.5kg to my front squat (127kg to 129kg). Could probably have done 131kg since I did 129kg without too much trouble. Will try again next time I front squat (this saturday). Squatting 3 times a week (alternating back and front) bulgarian style. Will have to do a deload week next week.

Just thought I'd throw my 12 weeks of weights progress in here and see how it measures up. I've also come up with some goals so if people could let me know how good the goals are and how my current progress is, that'd be great.

My deadlifts are still going up, press has hit a plateau. Squats are hard.

Height - 5'4" 160~cm
BW - 59kg (9'5", 130~lb)

Squat - 92.5kg 3x5
Press - 45kg 5x5
Bench - 57.5kg 5x5
Rows - 65kg 5x5
Deadlift - 120kg 1x5

Goals - By January 2013
Squat - 105kg 3x5
Press - 55kg 5x5
Bench - 70kg 5x5
Rows - 80kg 5x5
Deadlift - 150kg 1x5

BP 1x3 55, 65, 1x2 80, 1x1 90, 1-1-1F 105kg PR, 1x5 82.5kg - didn't setup properly for the last heavy single, should be able to get my usual 5-6 singles on Sunday.
Weighted crunches 3x5 65lbs

I was gonna do some barbell shrugs but somebody had taken the rack and I didn't feel like waiting. Wrist still not a 100%, so no chin ups today either.
