GOALS UPDATE
After a summer break I'm starting working out again.

Starting Date: 1/10/12 || Goal Date: 31/12/12
Weight goals -- gain a couple of pounds; keep BF% the same (currently about 13%)
Training goals
- squat 3x5: 75 kg => 100 kg (PR 87,5)
- press 3x5: 30 => 40
- bench press 3x5: 40 => 55
- deadlift 1x5: 80 => 120 (PR 100)
- power clean 3x5: ?? => 65
Misc/stress goals: Work on master thesis. Learn a lot on my first real job.

Yesterday

Bench press: 225x3, 275x1, 305x1 pr, 295x1, 275x1

dumbbell bench: 100x3x6

pullups 6-6-6-6

dumbbell curls 45x3x10

Last week:

worked up to 365 squat PR

was suppose to hit a 495 deadlift but was feeling weak as fuck and missed a 465. I blame it on working 60 hour weeks and raising a 2 year old. going to the gym on nothing but 4-5 hours of sleep fucking sucks

Finishing my round of exams on Tuesday, starting with some benchmark testing on Wednesday and the week after.

Starting 531 again with a buddy this time.

Bad attitude to have I guess, but I found 5/3/1 works well with a friend because you can just have a bit of fun with assistance exercises. I take the main lift super serious then just switch up the assistance every few weeks to keep it interesting, even if just BBB might be more effective.

OHP day after deload. For some reason my ohp dropped by 4 reps a couple of weeks before the deload and today I didn't manage to get close to my rep record. Contemplating switching to big but boring on ohp since that program gave me good gains.
Winners train. Loosers complain.

Last Saturday, I was at the mall. Was having lunch with a girl and her mum. There was this little toddler that was walking around, and smiling at everyone. He started to run and he fell.

Next thing, he starts to get up by getting in the "squat hole" position, then proceeds to rise in the greatest squat form I've ever seen in my entire life. He picks himself up and smiles.

Kid is a complete boss. And he made my squat technique look like total shit. He did it another couple of times too. I was eager to ask him for advice, but when I called him, he came to me and only gave me a high 5. Kid knows his shit :D
