I hope this recent run of form doesn't convince him to stay at Real Madrid :O Such a boss he's still 13 points behind, and may only have the Copa del Rey to play for after tuesday ![]()

Ferguson is the best all time manager but I can easily see Jose being even better after his career is over. The guy is incredible. And to win -everything- with Porto, the league with Chelsea 2 times, the treble with Inter (who then immediately sucked after), and la liga with RM. If he can win the CL this season it will put him one step closer to beating Ferguson. Which is why the fact that it's RM vs Man U is amusing lol. Getting 13 points behind really is just a few results, and in la liga it's really about who manages to get that little bit of luck in a few games. This pace that Bayern, Barca and Man U have been on is unbelievable. They just refuse to be stopped. If their competitors slip up just a little, it becomes a matter of psychology as well. Dortmund, Man City, RM, all winners of the league last year, all falling behind this year. I guess you can point to the fractured atmosphere at RM and blame Mou but it also just the luck of the dice from time to time. Also re QPR, man I should have made a bet on them staying up. I think they will do it, just too much quality in the team, especially if Remy stays fit.

Hes not even close to Fergie, never will be hes not that kind of manager, nor are any of the crop from the last decade or so. And frankly with the climate clubs are run in these days no one will ever come close. Im no Fergie fan but his mangerial prowess and to consistently build team after team (at the same club) and dominate the way he has will take some matching. Mourinho may have won more CL's but hes not got it.

You can rubbish the fact that he has won the league in 4 different countries as much as you want but if he doubles his record, for example, he starts to present an extremely powerful case. I have a huge amount of respect for someone who can have success in multiple countries. That includes Ferguson of course but Mou is just on another level. If he wins another treble with a DIFFERENT team (like Chelsea :D), about 10 league titles, and perhaps even does a successful stint as an international manager (winning with Portugal for example)...then we're cooking...and we might be looking at the GOAT.

Barca lose their 3rd biggest game of the year in a row xD Real rested players too xD So funny. Now aslong as Mourinho can do something to dethrone Man United on Tuesday all will be right in the football world xD

Man Utd has always been a big team, without Fergie that is ^_^ What Mourinho did with Porto is still a great achievement and you can't deny that. Since then he has had the transfer funds to do as he pleases, but still as Man City have proven, you can have all the money in the world and it does not bring you success without the right manager

Plus that same year we got to champions league final, lost by an inch of a goal post width, and won the FA Cup. With his team XD

This same 2004 year, Greece won the Euro, so... Your arguments are that he succeeded in many different clubs; for me he's just a mercenary. No, he's a businessman coaching football teams. I'm pretty sure he could succeed in any business as a leader because of his mindset. But do we remember great CEO's or do we remember guys with ideas? (Jobs, Gates, etc etc etc). Guardiola won the same amount of trophies in just 4 years, but 'he did it in the same team, with the best players blablablabla'. I'm not saying Guardiola is better (time will tell), but he did something more than just manage a team. But I guess that's just a matter of opinion, like when Messi is not the best because 'he has always played in the same team', when the same guys praise Scholes and Giggs every weekend x) On my list, Mourinho is probably around the 12-15th spot, and I don't have a good knowledge on the period pre 90's.

With his team XD Mutual consent in the media sure. Most likely what happened is that they urged him to quit and they worked out some deal, i.e. he got a big fat check to resign.

Gates and Jobs pretty much stole their ideas from other people lol (including each other XD). In fact they aren't just great CEO's, they are godlike CEO's that managed to create a brand that people stick by no matter what. To me, Fergie isn't the man with the ideas either.
