GG, well done Norwich. Pathetic display from Arsenal. Back to the drawing board. We need a defensive mid, and Diaby ain't it unless Wenger gives him augmented limbs. Koscielny as defensive mid as a solution perhaps? Can't compete for CL spots with shitty defence like this. Need to be able to win bad matches, but we clearly can't do that. Depressing.

he's average, but what do you expect from a club that sells all their best players (to rivals no less)

That happens if your first 8 games are against Fürth, Düsseldorf and all these 3rd-Class teams.

Because if your a Championship contender you dont drop points in the manner Arsenal do, for a while now.
Its not about one loss but the general flatness of the performance and the inability to grind out results against clearly inferior opposition.
A loss here and there wont upset anyone but the fact of the matter is that after 8 Matchdays, Arsenal are sitting in 9th, 10 points of the pace and below West ham, Spurs and Fulham. The only London club below them funnily enough is QPR.
That effectively means you dont win the league and you scrounge around for a top 4 finish on the back of a strong string of performances that we all know Arsenal will likely put in at some point over the course of the season.
So its not just "lol one loss". I would be very worried as an Arsenal fan because the pattern is just repeating, for people used to fighting for the title and always being in the discussion at the start of the decade this is becoming all to familiar.

Faith? What do you think Arsenal fans have been living off for the past 7 years? Wenger certainly deserves faith for all he's done with Arsenal, but not unconditional faith.

If you think fans have lost fans in Wenger because of one loss, you're really fucking stupid. We're no fair-weather fans. If all it took to lose trust in Wenger was one loss, he'd be out of here pretty fast don't you think? He's a fantastic manager and one of the best in taking young players and turning them into stars. Last season, I felt like it was finally out time. Boom. Fab and Nasri leave the team. Felt really exciting before this season as well. Boom. Van Persie gone.
Rebs pretty much nailed it on the head for me. It's not unheard of Arsenal dropping points with a shit performance to relegation candidates.
We have two major problems as of right now in my eyes:
1. Goalkeepers - Sadly not much to do about it but wait till Woj gets back. The two first choices have been injured most of the season so far. Mannone is not a bad keeper, but he is not a solid one either. The rebound he left for Holt is not something you see a top class keeper give away.
2. Defensive mid - If you've read my posts in this thread about Arsenal, I harp on this often. We don't have a capable defensive midfielder, and it shows. Look att Norwich's attacks last night. There's no big prescence in our midfield to stop the pressure, to take the tackles, to steal the ball. Diaby looked like a born-again man when he dominated Liverpool, but then he broke again. Coquelin is an interesting prospect, but he's nowhere ready. It's time to open the wallet again. Wenger likes France, so why not buy Etienne Capoue or Yann M'Vila? We have bought several players this season, but there's still a hole in our midfield. For a temporary solution, why not try Koscielny out for size? He's better than sitting on the bench and he's good on the ball as well.
We can and should be doing better. Hopefully we will be going forward.

Falcao, straight up clutch assassin strikes again.

Athletico de Madrid still tied to Barcelona with 22 points in the 8th week.
How much time they will last above Real Madrid? xD

Can someone please help me. I need to know what league is the Chelsea vs Shakhtar Donetsk in? Or which game is that. Thanks in advance.
