HBBS: 275x3x8, 310x3 Bench: 240x5x3 Press: 147.5x5 Deadlift: 380x4 Snatch: 172.5x1x6 (six singles) Clean and Jerk: 220x1x4 (four singles) Deadhang pullups: 15@202lbs, 18@184lbs. bw: 196 this morning. I don't understand guys like Haji who have these massive squats and relatively small dl/bench numbers. I wish I was like that, feels so hard to gain squat strength and easy to gain bench/dl. I can't bench right now though, I have some sort of tear or rupture in my armpit/upper pec/short head of the bicep area. Been like that for about 8 months and flares up if I bench for more than 2 weeks or so at a time. My bench pretty much goes up just from improving pullup/ohp strength though. I use a lot of layback on my press so there's a decent amount of pec involvement. I did daily pullups for about 10 weeks from September to November. Increased my max reps from 9 to 18 while dropping about 10lbs. I'm preparing for my 2nd oly meet and haven't done them recently, but as soon as I finish it I'm going to restart daily pullups. I followed a progression of starting at 6x6 and increasing the # of sets one week followed by the number of reps the next week, seemed to work really well. I tried max reps daily and pullup ladders and that just didn't work as well, seems like tons of sub-maximal sets is the way to go. Got the idea from here: http://strengthvillain.com/?p=295

Some people are just more inclined towards certain lifts.

everything felt pretty good actually, but skipped DL and cleans altogether because I was afraid I might hurt my hip again. 100 kg squats really easy 60 kg press fairly easy 80 kg bench really easy hopefully i don't fucking hurt myself again
